phenn: baka-san: People who open carry are asking for someone to take their guns away...No, they aren't.
Claude Ballse: It's because poultry is classified as an entirely different class of assault weapon, goober.[i.telegraph.co.uk image 620x620]
baka-san: People who open carry are asking for someone to take their guns away..."my half brick in a sock means I steal your unloaded AR"
Arkanaut: Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that citizens have a right to bear chickens.
AMonkey'sUncle: When it looks like you're in danger/When you're threatened by a stranger...
Rashnu: Woulda been a better story if he was protesting concealed carry gun laws. Shoulda at least strapped the chicken to his back.
ElLoco: baka-san: People who open carry are asking for someone to take their guns away..."my half brick in a sock means I steal your unloaded AR"Who in their right mind would carry an unloaded firearm?
snocone: Now we have Assault Chickens.Oh boy.
Amos Quito: Was it an Assault Chicken?
the_rhino: AMonkey'sUncle: When it looks like you're in danger/When you're threatened by a stranger...Diarrhea
wildcardjack: You can tell this guy isn't a Republican because the chicken ain't dead from farking.
MrHappyRotter: Don't egg this guy on. He's cocked and loaded, just ready to ruffle some feathers. "What difference is a chicken going to make?", asks the man pointing a gun at the dude with the chicken. Well, to the man pointing a gun at the dude with the chicken I say, don't count YOUR chickens before they hatch. Some of those birds are vicious crime fighting machines than can peck and scratch your eyes out before you have a chance to blink. So, ask yourself, do you feel clucky? Well, do you punk?
kroonermanblack: I've often considered the fanatical gun owners to be more concerned with their cocks than anything else, but this dude is taking that way too literally.I love me some guns, specifically pistols, but one of my buddies was espousing 'a 12 gauge for home defense' and 'an AR in the bugout bag' as well as something along the lines of point it at someone/someone pointing one at them.I'm just...stunned. They live in HOUSTON, not even a 'bad' part of town. And they have 2-3 kids under 5. The statistics for at-home break-ins vs. the statistics for 'child accidentally killed by/with gun' are...not pleasant. Is it just me, that finds this mentallity frightening? I mean, what compells people to think they the US is honestly going to devolve into an actual 3rd world country, with martial law? Is it possible? I guess. Is it likely enough that you should be predicating life choices on keeping guns and ammo in the house in a manner SPECIFICALLY intended solely for the purpose of shooting another human being (i.e. not remotely hunting related)?/CB75/Formerly SW 686, Springfield Armory 1911, Buckmark Camper
Chinchillazilla: Amos Quito: Was it an Assault Chicken?Damn, beat me.
snocone: You know where this leads, eh?Somebody is gonna charge you 25c to see the man eating chicken.
whackamac: I feel safer with open carry laws. Only criminals, bullies, or the scared would want to hide their weapons. If everyone open-carried a firearm, you would actually see crime disappear because the second you draw your weapon in a hostile manner, there are 20 people with guns on you to stop it. It is one hell of a deterrent. Can you draw faster than grandma? Are you sure? The only reason to take weapons away from the public is to control the public.
