Ricin cigarette?  I thought it was just some ricin.  Is it back in a cigarette?  Did I miss something?

It's in a vial, not a cigarette. Walt took it out in season 4.

He's talking about the one Walt got Junior to give to the Russians in the pine barrens.

Walt gives Lydia the ricin cigarette, but SURPRISE! Ricin is neutralized with fire. Walt fails to kill her.

Only one ricin cigarette left since Brock smoked the first one.

the ricin is functional, the meth is the mcguffin

Walt cooks up a special batch of blue meth with the ricin in it and takes out the southern half of Okla.

Didn't they already show Walt going to the destroyed house to get it and take it with him in the first episode of this season?

Jesse dies, but first, the nazis kill Sky, Flynn and Holly to get it. Remember that the "bell" thing that plays for the characters that die, was playing in the car as the camera looked at all three last episode. Marie probably bites the dust too.

Everybody dies.

Except Saul

You know, the flash forward that opened this season shows that Walt will return from New Hampshire, if that is indeed where he's been, but I can't imagine at this point he'd go back to save Jesse, who he has to imagine is dead anyway.  But he probably would to save and/or avenge his family.

I mean, he was willing to give up the whole $80 million to save Hank.  Who knows what he's capable of to save the rest of his family.

dude, if they offed Holly, then I imagine all of America will start rooting for Walt to kick some nazi ass.

I'm guessing that while on the run, he sees a "Breaking news" report about some massacre in ABQ involving a family, and the only reason it made news was because the baby was either snatched or killed. Walt goes off the deep end, picks up the M60 and goes nazi hunting.

although, after watching Ozymandius again this morning...I'm starting to think that Todd may turn on his uncle for Walt. I think offing Hank may have struck something in that down-syndrome Matt Damon head of his. I don't think he plans on actually killing Jesse either.

/maybe he just wants to pet the rabbit

Yes, all of the joking around about ricin cigarettes and Hank's house is funny, but we are in for some serious events here in tonight's episode.

One thing is certain: The closing shot will be Huell's cobweb-covered skeleton, a tragic reminder of what happens when you forget to let people out of safe houses.

While giving Walt his barrel of money, Unca Jack said something to the effect that Todd would like that and that he (UJ) didn't want to get on Todd's bad side.

Even Unca Jack is leery of Todd. Woe be unto those who cross  him.

It's all about barrels.  Barrels = death.  Many (four? five?) bodies (and one motorcycle) over the years have been disposed of (uh, dissolved) in a barrel.  Then Walt stored his money in barrels and buried the barrels in the desert, only to give them up to scary guys and see the excavated earth used as a grave to accommodate more death.  He rolled one of the barrels across the desert, like Christ carrying his own cross.  The other six and the pursuit of them or the scary guys who have them will set his own barrel-related death in motion.  He'll poison Lydia at a Cracker Barrel.  I'm expecting a showdown with Jesse, and Jesse standing over Walt with a barrel held high, yelling "DONKEY KONG, biatch!" right before he brings it down fatally on Walt's head.  And we'll all have a barrel of laughs.

It could easily be implied. I don't think an offscreen death is beyond the show.

Yeah...but the show has been pushing even the most loyal WW apologists to finally hating the man.  I mean I guess it could happen, but I just do not see VG suddenly asking his audience to sympathize once again for WW.

I like to think that there is a "4th wall" of sorts where the audience has broken bad too.  What I mean is that we have rooted for WW for soooo long, many of the things he did were for the protection and well being of his family.  Personally, I cannot be on his side anymore, I want him to fail spectacularly.  WW deserves to know, experience, and live with the very pain and suffering that he has brought upon so many other people.

Personally, I think that Holly is in protective custody and his family may be too.  Hell, they may be in the early stages of entering the witness protection program.

At this point, I think WW's focus is on the Nazis.  Remember, he is not in the meth business, he is not in the money business, he is in the EMPIRE BUSINESS.  The Nazis have taken the fruits of his labor (his money) and killed a family member.  He is going after them.

\That's my $0.02 on the matter
\\Let's see how wrong I am in a few hours!!

cuz, that would be farkin gold

2013-09-22 06:41:17 PM
I think we may get a little bit of back story on Todd tonight. He's become very central without knowing much about him. My guess is that the back story is something about his father, and why he is in his uncle's gang without his father around. Maybe his uncle killed his father. Maybe his father died when he was young and Jack took over. Maybe he never knew his father. I don't know, but we don't know much about Todd, and I feel like we'll learn something tonight that will shape what happens next.

Saul hadn't met him prior to BB, so I doubt it (unless it's a flash-forward).

2013-09-22 07:01:36 PM
I pre-guessed the first 5 minutes of last BB - including the commercials (hank and gomie - sniff)

not even one idea anymore

based on the number of "ricin to take out the nazi people" theories, i'm voting nope - if they die, they die en mass, because "science, biatch"
i think marie is the one who wrote "heisenburg" on the wall in the season open, and the ricin is for her
I think Jesse ends up with the cash - and not a care for it at all - he is the one who noted "this is where we started"

yeah - not one idea of merit

see yas after!

I have been spending some time thinking about Lydia, the tea cup with her red lipstick and the ricin.
Jesse knows he is toast, when Todd can cook as good as he can, Jesse kills Todd. Jack can't kill Jesse, as he is now the only cook.
R/C carbomb for Marie?

I'm still cheering for him out of habit.  I know Gilligan wanted us to stop cheering Walt when he poisoned the kid, but the kid was never on the show.  Who gives a fark?  I thought maybe I'd stop cheering for him when Hank died and he OK'd Jesse's death, but I didn't.  Hank let his pride get in the way of bringing down Walt, and Jesse was acting like a rat for a kid we don't care about.  Mike?  That's how the game plays.  He was always at risk.

I really think the big problem is that we don't give a shiat about that kid, other than the fact he's a kid.  If that was supposed to get the whole ball rolling, it failed miserably.  At this point I want Walt to come back, steal his money, swing his balls around and force everyone to eat 30 pounds of shiat.

Bingo, remember when Uncle Jack made a big deal about not wearing a mask when Todd told him he should. And Kenny also, wanting to smack any kid he sees riding a bicycle with a helmet - for his own good.
