Good. Rats are probably the future of mammals, the way things are going.

No, it's Indonesia, where Wallace explored.

They laid traps baited with roasted coconut and peanut butter, placed on tree trunks and at burrow openings.

Even the rodents in Indonesia eat tastier food than most Americans.

Oh, I thought this was about the one they just discovered in Vegas. The thing's been perching on Donald Trump's head for decades, but no one recognized what it really was until he accidentally wandered into the Vegas Thunderdome Experience and had to fight it to the death.

We use peanut butter in our mousetraps too... right here in Connecticut. They can't grab it out as easily as a piece of solid cheese, and it doesn't go bad as fast as soft cheese does. And it works.

Yay, lets catch these brand new rats from an area we know to be critically endangered aaaaand kill them and cut them open.  It probably won't affect the population at all!

I find Nutella works like nothing else in the live-catch traps I've used when we had mice getting into the house.

Um, I'm pretty sure I could beat this rat at Jeopardy or a game show called "Are you smarter than a newly discovered rat?"

Try hitting the peanut butter with a lighter (or torch if you have one) to lightly toast it.  Makes the aroma even stronger.

We had a mouse in the building a few years ago, toasting the peanut butter got the mouse into the trap as I was walking away from it.
