I'm trying to come up with a snarky remark about rent-a-cops thinking they are real cops, and trying to get free stuff.. but.... just  don't have the energy to care about this story to really contribute..

in fact.. this whole thing kinda sucks.. from the greened with no comments.. the whole thing just kinda lingering there...

mod/mins.. y'all just kill this damn thread, put it out of its misery.

I'd say "going to an Applebee's".

You guys all hate on Applebees but it has the finest italian cuisine compared to these "real italian" places I keep seeing.

My grandmother thinks Applebee's is like the holy grail of restaurants.

This article doesn't say that he had to make reservations either.  At least he got to taste the life of the 1%.

well, it probably seems like a real hip and happing place with all the young folks mixing it up in the lounge... young folks of course being 40something divorced people chain smoking, pumping back the jack and cokes and Coors lights and trying to hook up.

Some Eateries I've known like to give a 15% off price to the Police for their midnight meals.
Occasionally 25% if its a real bad neighborhood so they can get faster police service for when robberies happen.

I asked for no onions on my Bourbon Steak.

Sorry. The chef had to thoroughly and aggressively sample the bourbon to make sure it was up to our standards.

Better mozzarella sticks.

A dick move but I do not fully agree with the impersonating a police officer charge. Feel like it should only count when it involves an action that would be preformed by a member of that profession. So claiming to be an officer isn't illegal but saying you are to enter somebody's home is.

Their wings are pretty good. First and only time in Applebee's. They were next to the hotel.

Ugh, I wouldn't eat at one for free. There's always a signboard outside saying "NO WAIT", and I laugh knowingly.

Civilians pay in restaurants.  Our hero used his badge to try to avoid paying, because cops frequently don't.

Seems like an appropriate charge under your standards.

Couldn't afford his meal but could post 25,000 bail? Dumbass.
