Kinda funny, my first name is John. There's a hip-hop station around here (hot 97) whose tag line is "Blazin' hip hop n' R&B flavas!" A friend decided John Blaze would be a good nickname for me. He thought it would be funny because I was such a straight kid and would never smoke or anything. Funny thing is I had already smoked, even before he did. Anyway jblaze is just short for that.
