Sometimes, I wish NFL teams would employ marching bands to play the national anthem rather than "Xty time Grammy and Tony award winner and American Idol 3rd place" Aimee Autotune...

Mart Laar's beard shaver: Driving for a TD, Kansas State just suffered a butt-fumble (I kid you not).

I'd be upset about the apparent reprieve if I didn't believe that OU will finish off Mack in a few weeks

freak7: Techhell: Losing to Appy St. is one of the biggest upsets in college football history.

That's a ridiculous opinion. Had Appy St been able to be ranked, they would have easily been in the top 15 at the end of the season. Not even close to being one of the biggest upsets, the loss to Toledo was a bigger upset.

Dude. Give it up. You don't like being reminded of Appy St - I get it. But denying how big of an upset it actually was is the kind of thinking that leads to games like against Akron last week. And the idea that Toledo was a bigger upset, in the middle of the worst season in Michigan since 1962, is slightly amusing. I'm not even sure how much of an upset it really was, considering it was the year where RichRod tried to turn Michigan into a new kind of team and everything was going nutty.

//wtf is up with Michigan in the last two weeks? Holy fark they look like no one has any idea what's going on.

It's sort of ridiculous to keep bringing up the Appalachian St win over Michigan. Sure Michigan should have won, but Appy St was in a run of being a 3 time Div 1AA champion when they beat Michigan, they could have beat half the teams in Div 1A. You seem to be implying that Div 1AA teams should never be able to beat Div 1 teams and that's all kinds of wrong.

michigan was ranked #5 at the time.  It's one of the biggest college football upsets of all time.  You will be reminded of this game for a very long time.

freak7:

Not even close.

... dude. As a fellow Wolverine fan, just stop. Losing to Appy St. is one of the biggest upsets in college football history. It's possible to point directly to that game and call it a key reason that Michigan football went into the tank for about 5 years, and that we're still feeling the effects of that game.  Every week before playing a "cupcake", Michigan coaches should play that game for the team to remind them that just having the maize and blue doesn't mean they're going to win.

/Really glad I don't have to add "Akron" to that list too.

well, considering ASU v Stanford is a Pac-12 matchup.....

/parents are at the game
//ASU season ticket holders
///incredible seats at home, second row south endzone, behind the goalpost, see them on TV during PATs

Pretty sure it was a jab at the huge fark up they refs made vs Wisconsin giving asu the win.

And waiting for people to crow about how ESPN went to an Div II school, see they're relevant! When its only because its shiat scrub weekend in CFB.

Are you ever not a complete cock?

You realize that NDSU is a Div I school?  Div II is where they came from.   Div I is FBS + FCS.

Not only that but NDSU is a repeat National Championship team, beat the last 4 FBS schools they have played, have a 7-2 record against FBS teams, and would be ranked #54 if they were in the FBS....better than over half of the current FBS teams.   How is that for 'not relevant'?   Las Vegas is putting odds up that 'Bama would beat NDSU today by 32 1/2 points if they played....and has 'Bama beating Colorado by 39 points.
