(Think Progress)   Rep. Darrel Issa, in his quest for the absolute truth about Benghazi, may have sorta kinda possibly slightly accidentally forgot to invite the Democrats on the Oversight to join him on his fact-finding trip to Libya   (thinkprogress.org) divider line 499

Rose McGowan as Miss Kitty FTW.

Also Bob Odenkirk's turn as an organ transplant Doctor was delightful.

After watching Whoop as Death I'm not quite sure if America is ready for a President who's head explodes when angry.

If they wanted that they could just vote Republican, couldn't they?

For those of you who might be unfamiliar with this site:

Welcome to the Fark Politics tab.

We like to point out how wrong Republicans are about the things they say, and there are sources to prove their hypocrisy.

In the middle of all this, there are trolls who post biased, opinion-based links in an attempt to see if you are actually awake.

If you feel the need to respond to them, out of boredom, curiosity or anything else, these are the only acceptable responses:

To Aristocles: "Who is Bob?" (Hint: he'll never answer, and he'll ramble on about talking points you really don't care about.)

To freak7: "Prove it." (He can't, and sometimes will back himself into a corner and prove himself more wrong.)

Watch out for subject switches and Townhall links. Stay safe out there, citizen. (And by citizen, we mean you're likely more eligible to live here than Rafael Cruz.)

Obama is doing quite a bit to my freedoms.  Continuing the work Bush did to limit them.

LOL I TROL U HERPA DERPA DU

2013-09-22 02:58:05 AM

freak7: notto: Why are you changing the subject from your claims that the administration didn't admit they made mistakes when they did admit that?

They admitted to a couple of minor mistakes, only after it blew up in the media and they could no longer deny them without looking like idiots. Since we know they were so willing to lie about something as minor as the reason for the attack, why are you so sure they're telling the truth about everything else?

No one who posts something like this should be considered worthy of discussion.

DeArmondVI: You're still farkin' that chicken, eh? You are aware, being the Benghazirugladijongate scholar that you are, that the administration changed its assesment to it being a pre-planned terror attack over a month before the election, right? How did admitting error in their initial assesment a month prior to the election help them win?

You obviously don't understand how Obama's time machine works, do you?

Oh ipad formating, how you troll me.

3 THINGS.

1. What possible information could he possibly be getting over a YEAR after the event, that he couldn't get over the phone or via written reports / pictures.

2. How much will he be given PER DAY as part of his food budget.

3. How much is his trip + Security going to cost the US taxpayer?

Ricardo Klement: Satanic_Hamster: Ricardo Klement: That was a farking fantastic game.

One of the top games of all time, or at least of the pre-pentium era.  That and Wing Commander/II.

I remember I was disappointed when the Pentium came out and there wasn't a software clock to make it run at a reasonable speed. Heck, even on the 486 it was all but unplayably fast.

An uncle of a friend was a waist gunner on a B-17. He said that you couldn't slew the gun fast enough to get a shot off at an ME-262, so I sped the game up until I couldn't quite slew the waist gun and tried playing it at that speed.

It's hard to win.

LucasArts made some sweet games back then, but I didn't get around to trying that one.  Well, my DOS machine was a 286, and I went Mac after that.

Umm... as shiatty as this may be, "partisan delegations can be allowed 'in rare circumstances and at the sole discretion of the Chairman,'" and Darrell Issa is the chairman of the committee. There's nothing against the rules going on here, despite the tone of the article.

The bigger scandal to me is that the douche for some reason has to stop in Italy and Egypt before going to Libya, and isn't going to Benghazi. I have to wonder what he could possibly learn from this trip to contribute to any investigation, bogus or not, of the Benghazi consulate attack. It sounds like he's getting a free vacation with a layover in Tripoli on the way home.

Just ignore Aristocles. Based on his profile, and what he said in this thread, he's quite young and angry.

1) His comments are unwaveringly loyal to the GOP, but he says he didn't vote for Bush.
Possibly he was not yet 18, or he was in college and hadn't registered.

2) His profile posts lyrics from KMFDM's album WWIII, which came out in 2003, and Laibach's Das Spiel ist Aus album, which came out in 2007. Like most college-age boys, he thinks he's cool by posting angsty political lyrics by obscure (AKA non-radio) bands, but what he doesn't realize is that they've had a huge following since the late 80s.

3) These two bands are German. Once again, he thinks he's cool by posting German lyrics (Laibach), but it really just says that he remembers just enough German from his language classes in high school, and it was probably through the high school German club where he was introduced to such music. He's trying to assert superiority through his German knowledge.

4) Also, what he doesn't realize is that the lyrics are about dubya.

Aristocles is likely between 18-25, and probably believes a lot of what he is saying. It's just that his worldview his heavily skewed and quite narrow right now. He may turnaround, but it'll likely take a meltdown, and we won't see him again to confirm.

The GOP actually cares about the Americans brutally murdered in Benghazi because of Hildawg and BOB's blunders. This isn't political, it's about finding answers for the families of the slain.

Are you still really trying to invent new nicknames and memes?  How's that goin' for ya?  Doesn't seem to be sticking.

But then again, you're probably just coming up with this stuff to increase the reply count so then you can complain about it, right?

Hil-dawg is from South Park
BOB is from Brick House
"Read a book sometime" is from another Farker

My only original contribution of late, that I know of, is "Jesus H.W. Christ," and I've been saying that for years.

Folks who are still harping on "potatoe" don't really have a lot of room to talk.

So who is Bob?

We've already covered that.  More Republicans than Democrats walked out of the hearing room.  Are you saying that those Republicans that did not stay should not be invited on this trip as well?  Should the Democrats that did stay be invited on the trip?  After all, by your standard, they are not the monumental cowards that the Republicans who left are.  Seems if you want this to be a coward free trip, party lines might not be the way to go.
