Officials say Mee lured the victim to an abandoned home under the pretense of buying marijuana in October of 2010. Once there, two of Mee's friends robbed him at gunpoint - but the victim struggled and was shot four times.

If only there was a word describing their plan going wrong...

Sounds like there was a hitch in their plan.

Yeah, sub-hic-by, there are a lot of -hic- ways to show hic-hic-cuping, but I've never repeated sylla-hic-bles while doing it.

No.  The victim struggled and caused his own murder.  If not for his struggling, he would still be alive today.

Not only that, he was dumb enough to go to an abandoned home.  He probably thought he was going to get laid (and ended up being 'laid to rest' - HA HA HA HA HA)

No, but really.  I wonder what a blow job would feel like is the girl has uncontrollable hiccups the whole time.

That's stuttering subbie, not hiccuping.

Also, you spelled "hiccuping" wrong.

Guilty of 3rd degree murder.  Sentenced to life in prison without parole.  If only that were true.  The little princess broke down crying.  Honestly, life in prison is too good for her considering her role was instrumental in some other person's death.  Stop being dirty, spiteful, lying, stealing, greedy, manipulative little cum stains and you know what?  Your odds of ending up in prison for life are reduced to almost nothing.  Sorry, I don't really have much pity or compassion for pieces of rat shiat like this scum.

I saw this on the news this morning.  She said something along the lines of "This would have never happened had I not abandoned my good Christian lifestyle and followed the path of the Devil."  So basically, it's not her fault that she associated with criminals, but the Devil tempted her and she listened.

As a reminder, she is white.  If she were black, she'd have a couple life sentences ahead of her.

To be fair, white people commit fewer crimes and are less likely to reoffend than black people.

I believe that's closer to lib logic.  They're always the ones saying that it's morally superior allow yourself to be victimized rather than risk hurting your attacker.

Am I the only Farker who remembers seeing this story in the news a few years back (uncontrollable hiccups) and called shenanigans?    I remember thinking that she was attention whoring and was seeking the attention that mommy and daddy were't delivering (or perhaps delivering too much attention, just the "wrong" kind.)

so was she an accessory to murder or did she pull the trigger?  life in prison seems pretty harsh for someone that planned a small robbery.  also, i wonder if the prosecution offered her a deal before trial

Her boyfriend is still awaiting trial.  It's likely the piece of filth lied and manipulated her fragile little mind into committing the luring and baiting part of the crime and tricked her into thinking it was a simple drug deal / robbery, all the while his friends and he had the plans all along to kill then he'll throw her under the bus during his trial saying it was her plan all along.

Accessory, but, under Florida Law, you can still be tried for murder even if you didn't ACTUALLY kill the guy. :-(

It is like that pretty much everywhere. Capital Murder. Why the :( face? She deserves every second she spends in prison. If not for her descision to help lure some guy into her house, he would probably be alive today, instead of dead over $60 worth of pot. If you commit a crime and anyone gets killed during it, even an accomplice, you will go down for capital murder. Don't like it? Don't do stupid crap.

Murder during the commission of a felony (armed robbery) is always first degree. Doesn't matter who pulled the trigger, all members of the group (including any co-conspirators in cars outside, etc) are equally guilty. All the prosecutor has to prove is that a) she was there, and b) one of them shot the guy.

In 1973  William James Rummel was sentenced to life in prison for his third felony. His first two were for fraudulent use of a credit card and a forged check, for a grand total of about $108 stolen, and his third was for his refusal to pay $120.75 for the repair of an air conditioner, said repair having been performed either unsatisfactorily or not at all, depending on who you ask. In 1980 the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the life sentence. Meanwhile, this chick helped kill a guy.

2013-09-21 09:31:00 PM
Shouldn't that be second degree murder?
