Sheldon Cooper has really let himself go.

Give him a break. He was just getting psyched up for the experience for which his mom and grandma paid with their gift cards given on his birthday.

I wonder if that was the first time he asked for a girl's number.

He seemed to have got what he wanted... Why did he go back?

And her resolution skills sucked more balls than he does. She was making fun of him during the... um... discussion? Argument?

"You just threatened to give my public information out.."

He was upset that she joked about making his public information public?

She was (jokingly?) offering to give out the email address on his business card, which he had given to her.  She then said everyone could email him and thank him for holding up the line.  At that point she was totally out of line (although I doubt she would have actually done it, but she should never have suggested it in his hearing).  She will probably lose her job over that.

You know you should not make fun of this guy. Its hard when you only get out of your moms basement every few months for a midnight release. She should have straight up denied him due to lack of ID.

Ghastly: Sheldon Cooper has really let himself go.

That show is bad.

That woman is openly mocking and antagonizing a customer.  I don't get all the hate toward the guy.  He might be a jerk -- I don't know.  But from what's shown in the video, that woman deserves every bit of what's coming to her.

I wonder if he gives the same shiat to the clerk when he buys liquor and/or cigarettes. What a f'kn tool.

Certainly the first time he actually got one

/she was out of line, however.

Why wouldn't he have a picture ID?

Is he one of those insane privacy/security cultists who encrypt their hard drives and emails in case the government was trying to snoop on him?

I'm wagering the guy falls on the higher functioning end of the Autism spectrum.

fark those timed missions!

Customer was a douchebag. Store representative was unprofessional. I call it a wash.

lotus: Store representative was unprofessional.

Is professionalism a "thing" for retail workers? I mean, seriously. She looked managerly, so she makes, like, what? $10/hr? $12, maybe? She's staying up late for a midnight launch for chump change,  and she has to be professional? Screw that.

2013-09-21 11:55:37 AM
The funny thing is that he's THE giant obnoxious dork.. In a store full of people waiting for the MIDNIGHT RELEASE OF GTA V!  Shouldn't they worship him or something?

Honestly, there's too much missing from the video to determine who's really at fault.  And I can't say the manager is necessarily unprofessional, because after a certain point, I don't expect anyone to remain 100% civil.

2013-09-21 11:57:20 AM
Oh, and that guy bobs his head so much when he talks, that he reminds me of a muppet.

She's already been fired.

Someone has said she's already been fired. Which, yeah, she should be.

That being said, we don't know what went on before the camera started rolling. I wonder how long he complained and antagonized her before she lost all professionalism. She kept a lot calmer than most. She was probably ran a better store than most because of the workers probably really liked her.

I work in a place where we have to verify with ID before we can get into an account and you would not believe the people who freak out over showing their ID and giving out the last four of their social. Then when we won't let 'em into their account to check their stuff because we can't prove who they are....they go ape shiat.  There are some weird, weird people in this great big wild world.

This job would be great if it wasn't for the farking customers!

2013-09-21 04:08:48 PM
Whatever disagreement you have with a customer, you don't make it public to other customers.  He was a jerk?  Fine, there are plenty of jerk customers, but you don't say to the rest of the customers in the store "Hey, look at the jerk."

I'm shocked that the lady wasn't in the American Dream thread biatching about how she can't get a quality job with her PhD and is instead stuck working at a Gamestop.

Uh, yeah, society's not farked in the slightest.
