Greg Giraldo nuking Denis Leary was the greatest moment of that show.

And I'm not a Leary hater.

Patrice O'Neal was glorious on that show. I've been looking to stream it, does anyone know if it's available on Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc?

That actually was a great show, even though I disagreed with many of the main panelists plenty of times.

I got the sense that they'd be enjoyable to hang out with.

Man, Giraldo can thisclose to saying, "Hey, we can't all steal our opinions from Bill Hicks."

Greg Giraldo had a BA in English from Columbia and a JD from Harvard Law. He was a brilliant comedian whose run was too short.

Meanwhile, Daniel Whitney probably made 75 million dollars last year.

Alright, after looking for 15 minutes I realize that there are no DVDs of this or any streaming of it anywhere. Not even any torrents. BUT! Being someone that only advocates downloading shows as a last resort when something like this happens... if you go to the Tough Crowd imdb discussion page and look at the thread "there has to be someone out there....." you'll find a link to an FTP site that has almost all of them. And no viruses... If you're so inclined.

My favorite episodes were the ones where Patrice just hijacked the entire show.

This was one of my favorite shows ever. Just a bunch of guys BSing around, having fun. Didn't always agree with some of the opinions, but damn, that show was funny. Youtube has episodes for those wanting to watch.

I loved that show and can't understand why there aren't more like it.

Oh man I also loved this show. I always figured half of the reason it didn't do well was because of Quinn. He always seemed so awkward out there. The other half was because of the stuff they talked about. They went to places where no one else dared to go on tv.

Even though it was political, it wasn't really a natural follow up to the Daily Show.   Completely different tones.    I worked in an office full of uptight women at the time.   Every morning started off with a discussion of the Daily Show from the night before and how adorable and cute and precious  Jon Stewart is.  This inevitably followed into with how "disgusting" and "vile" Tough Crowd was.    Quite a few even threatened to write letters to Comedy Central demanding it to be taken off the air for "hate speech". I would be surprised if more than a few followed through.

He pretty much said that, and the rest of the panel went from OHshiat to HAHAHAHAHA  in a nanosecond. I like Leary, but he got farking OWNED.

Tough Crowd paired with It's Always Sunny would work pretty well.

In all honesty, I hated Colin when he followed Norm on WU, but he grew on me, and now I can see that no one could follow Norm, because Colin still has been the best since Norm was booted.  Tough Crowd was a good, under appreciated show that lacked the pretentiousness of other round table shows, like whatever Bill Maher decides to call his roundtable show on any given day

There's a guy on youtube who's uploaded a bunch.
That with firefox downloader, I've got a ton on my computer to watch.

I met Jim Norton at San Diego Comic Con. We talked about how much that show is missed right now. He seemed to miss it pretty good.

Collin Quinn has THE most horrible delivery of any stand-up I have ever seen.

Greg Giraldo and Patrice O'Neal made that show great; it would still have been good without them, but whenever they were on the bar was raised a bit higher.

Tough Crowd was what Politically Incorrect wishes it could have been. A show that had fun with political topics and actually didn't pull punches.

Tough Crowd is why I love O&A to this day.
You get Quinn and Mohr on as guests, along with Li'l Jimmy Norton, and the three of them can go the entire 4 hours. Add Vos and a couple others to the show, and it's just beautiful.

In college we went to a few recording of the show. It was awesome to be in that audience. especially the second time we were there the warm up comic got pulled so that Colin could try some of his new standup material on us. It was such an awesome show to see when the cameras were off. They just kept arguing.

CSB time:
After the show all of the panelists would sign autographs and talk to everybody from the audience. I looked around and didn't see the guy I really wanted to shake hands with: Denis Leary. So I went outside to leave. I step outside and pull a smoke out of my pack and there he is all by himself smoking leaning against the building waiting for something. As I stumble to say something interesting I ask to use his lighter (I had a perfectly fine one in my pocket) I use his FDNY lighter which felt really heavy, like it was made out of gold. We made small talk which for the life of me I can't remember what was said I was so damn starstruck, and he asked if I wanted an autograph or something. I told him I used his lighter and had a smoke with him, which is a way better than any autograph. He chuckled and walked away.

I know I'm late to the party, but if anyone is interested in checking out Tough Crowd on YouTube, these three guys have a lot of the episodes up. And the PentimentoTapes guy has the last episode up in one clip and a whole bunch of Dave Attell's Insomniacs.
