Headso: The most unpleasant speech should be protected the most.
Antimatter: Hold on, she was acquitted, the court appealed, and then was convicted?
lamric: My oldest son was born Sept 11th (2005), too late to rename him but I could use some t-shirt ideas for him.
FloydA: TuteTibiImperes: Spertember?Probably left over from the French Revolution calendar. You know: Messidor, Thermidor, Fructidor, Humidor, Slamthedor, Spertember, Squishtember, Splashtember, Nivose, Pluvoiose, Ventos, Mentos, Gotchernose.
zulius: reported: nursey school? so there are lots of nurses there?Seriously? It's another name for preschool...
Elroydb: The only crime she should be charged with is reckless endangerment of a minor. People whose lives were personally affected by the terrorist attacks might not be able to control their emotions when encountered with that even on a kidAt any rate if someone slugged her in the face for doing that with her son I don't think any court would convict them. There's trolling and then there's provoking potential violence
Koalaesq: Europe ain't perfect and they sorely need a version of the 1st amendment
muck4doo: Where are the usual idiots who derp that we need to be more like Europe?
DontMakeMeComeBackThere: vernonFL: 'Jihad' is a relatively common name, but for anyone to wear a shirt like that is stupid AW trolling.Seriously? No, seriously, seriously? Does it have another "meaning" as a name, or are they essentially named "Holy War".Completely serious - never heard that it was ever used as a name.
brantgoose: flynn80: The "official" story of 9/11 doesn't include a bomb, wouldn't 7/7 make more sense?Aha! French Truthers. Now we're talking!
brantgoose: Doesn't anybody proof read any more instead of just letting Spell Checker do its stuff willy-nilly, any old whey?
Millennium: Antimatter: Hold on, she was acquitted, the court appealed, and then was convicted? This didn't happen in the US. Different countries have different rules about things like double-jeopardy.Ahem. I can't say I agree with this ruling. The mom's an asshat, no doubt about it, but being an asshat should not be a crime. A baby in a onesie might have been another matter: babies don't move around very much, so the possibility that you might actually be dealing with some scary stuff disguised as a baby is at least credible. But three-year-olds walk and talk and interact in ways that disguised ordnance simply does not. There was no credible threat here. There should be no crime. Let her face all the derision and scorn that asshats deserve, but fines? Prison sentences, even if suspended? No.
