Well if it was a hoax, they got every law enforcement agency in DC on board with it, and rented a bunch of helicopters. They get an A for effort. What a twuntacular asshat.

The real asshats are the ones at Daily Caller who thought some dude's blog was news worthy.

It would be great to have enough money to waste to set up a sham company and hire him to do research for you, take his "findings", have them "confirmed" by "higher ups" in the company, watch him use the company as his main source of confirmation in his stupid blogs. Then when he's pretty much laid it all out showing how he finally has the validation he needs, show him it was all actually a conspiracy just to show how full of shiat he is.

And now we see the problem with tenure...

FTA: "As documents relating to the Sandy Hook shooting continue to be assessed and interpreted by independent researchers, there is a growing awareness that the media coverage of the massacre of 26 children and adults was intended primarily for public consumption to further larger political ends," Tracy wrote concerning the Sandy Hook massacre.

I really can't argue with that. Infotainment with a political bias replaced objective reporting a couple of decades ago.

I'm no fan of academia (10 years of college should do that to anyone), but one idiot professor's ranting are hardly an indictment of an entire university.  Nearly every school has at least one professor who's an idiot, whether it's Ward Churchill, Lee Stepina, or this guy.

Yeah, the calls for censorship in this thread are just deafening; apparently, they're blinding, too, as I can't see a single one. Care to point out where anyone calls for this guy to be censored?

That's always been my major point with conspiracy nuts, they never seem to have an answer for how these things get pulled off when it would take hundreds, if not thousands of people being in the know about them. How the fark could you ever keep something like that a secret between that many people in this day and age is beyond comprehension.

I was hoping it was the mind control conspiracy guys.  They are usually not too far from stuff like this, and they should be getting a boost in the arm with the "arm lifting over twitter" experiments from a few weeks back.  Plus the guy had that weird "hearing voices" episode a while ago.

With luck we'll hear the phrase "crowd stalking" on CNN soon.  Good fun.

What, specfically, are you referring to in the article?

This part, that has nothing to do with the whackjob and hand? And would have no effect on his speech?

Over the summer, the public, taxpayer-funded university adopted a draconian "Free Speech and Campus Civility" policy which insists "that everyone in the FAU community behave and speak to and about one another in ways that are not racist, religiously intolerant or otherwise degrading to others."

You know, mocking him isn't the same as censoring him.

This part

As the free-speech watchdog group FIRE noted at the time, the broad and ambiguous policy forbids all kinds of speech and expression that is protected under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

Oh and then there was the professor that hit a protester with her car.

In March, the administration tried to punish a student who expressed discomfort with a professor's assignment to stomp on a piece of paper bearing the word "Jesus."

That's referring to the same thing I quoted. Rules on how they're to treat one another have no effect on this guy's whackjob theorizing. Likewise, the professor/protestor thing is unrelated.

I asked for evidence that anybody is trying to censor this professor. If you don't have any, just say so.

The post to which I responded said it always happens. I pointed out that there's no evidence of it in the case at hand. If you can't put that together, I'll help: always would include this instance.
