"Is this some kind of bust?"
"Well, yes, it's very impressive..."

Eh, some of those places get their employees via human trafficking methods, so there's at least some legitimate means for checking them out.

However, if it were legalized and regulated, with employee records required and regular spot checks, they wouldn't have to worry about that.

Just make prostitution legal. Government gets to TAX them and earns money (which then makes it legal), customers are guaranteed satisfaction, or at least a happy ending, and the workers get whatever is left of their pay after the government devours most of it.

You're obviously not thinking about the children.

You need to think about the children.

I read TFS as "Ninja's Massage" and was trying to picture how that would go...

Agreed. Or at least if not legal then stop arresting people for having sex. However, there does need to be some protections against trafficking, slavery and forced prostitution. I am sure there are a number of pimps that keep their girls in line with the fear of 'if you admit you have had sex for money, you will go to jail too'. If the girls feel safer about coming forward, then it gives us a chance to reduce some of the truly negative parts of the industry.

"Tina King, 30, of Diamond Bar, suspected of pimping and pandering, police said."

I thought panders had more Asian-sounding names?

No offense to the ladies, but I would prefer the cops were chasing hookers.  They have no business chasing "terrorists"

Yes, legalize it. But add mandatory STD testing for the prostitutes. And jack the penalties for pimping an underage prostitute through the roof.
