I am reading the Colts basically expect Luck and his photographic memory to tell TRich what to do on every play in the huddle.  In other words, he is going to play a lot this Sunday.

My BIL had him. Not sure what happened, but it sounded like he lost him in the deal.... He'll do well at the Colts. Good on him to get some time on a good team while he's young. As a Browns fan, they better not screw up on this strategy.

Luck is my backup, but I'm going to play him this week even though they have the 49ers (also my Defense). LOL

I'm gonna go grab him in my 16 team league.

Hey! Leave me out of this. But seriously, I dropped Bradshaw and had to pick up Robert Turbin and Jason Snelling to shore up my other running backs, Steven Jackson and Ray Rice (both dealing with injuries this week). Mid-season form!

im a little surprised it didnt address the entire rainey oingobiongo mcgahee situation with the browns who seem to have little hope of throwing the ball this year, also little hope of running the ball, and little hope not exceeding quotas for the fabrication of sadness.

I have Ahmad Bradshaw but wasn't playing him anyways, he's just insurance.

My problem that's been preying on my mind about one league is at quarterback; I have Cam Newton and Tony Romo but both have been playing a lot worse than Phillip Rivers and Sam Bradford, who are on the waiver wire. I'd welcome any comments about this situation.

It's cute the way you guys use "strategy" when discussing the Browns front office. They have the drafting, scouting, and personnel acumen of a buttfumble.

I'm drunk with power after starting the Oakland D against Jax last week and getting better results than about 90% of the other defenses in the league.  I don't have a solid starting D on the roster, so I am picking up defenses facing bad offenses each week.  Jax is facing Seattle, so there was no option for me there.  Almost went with the Bills D since they are up against the Jets, but the Richardson trade and Weeden's injury could not be ignored.

Jacksonville against Seattle will be the upset of the year. Seattle's going to get crushed like a child's eardrums in their stadium.

I went to both Colts games this season. My favorite part of being at the Colts games, was every time Luck took off out of the pocket. You hear this immediate cheer followed by a quiet gasp. Every Colts fan is clenched tight when Luck starts running.

The Colts have lost Vick Ballard for most (if not all) of the season, and know they can't win in the Playoffs with just Donald Brown and Ahmad Bradshaw. This was, in my biased opinion, a sound pick up for the Colts. Can't wait to see if a lethal offense consisting of Luck, Richardson, Bradshaw, Wayne, Hilton, Heyward-Bey and Fleener will show itself by the BYE week. Colts will be looking really good if they can be at .500 by then.

Oh, they're not winning in the playoffs with Richardson. But without him there was no way in hell they were MAKING the playoffs.

I'd be curious (though not curious enough to do the research myself) to see how NFL underdogs by, say, 15 points or more do against the spread.  Probably doesn't happen often enough to get a meaningful sample.

I'm sure someone has done this study. The line (+20?) is ridiculous for the NFL. I'd be shocked if Jacksonville loses by that much. Hell, I'd be shocked if Seattle bothered trying to cover versus pulling starters late in the fourth

The favored team covers 5 out of 6 times when the spread is 20 or more. Looked that up earlier this week.

I've already had a 1 point loss this season, but last week the Seahawks made sure I was soundly defeated.

The only reason the Seahawks wouldn't cover is because Gus Bradley probably knows the team better than anyone. And because Carroll doesn't run up the score.

You'd think they'd have started running it after a while to give their D some time on the bench...

I think they should have an additional stash of players for games you can put in if you're just getting smoked. Down 30 with 4 minutes left? Put in the practice squad, see what they've got.

Really? Because I'm happy to pick up Luck this week, and start the Vikes D because I think both will do well.

Granted, I don't think Indi will win, but I think Luck will put up good numbers. 220-300yrds and 2 TDs.  And maybe another 15-30yrds rushing.

Romo is currently underperforming in fantasy because the new offensive direction seems to be this:

1. Run the ball 6 times in the first 10 plays. Get 2 yards total. Never run the ball again.
2. Remember that Tony Romo can throw the ball. Throw all over the place until a defender gets close to a pass.
3. Change entire offense to 3 WRs running slants until the game is over.
