I avoid doing that while alive, too.

I really hope that the eventual breakthrough comes from a spinoff of research done on the effects of microgravity on the human body.

Why do you hate Montreal?

So this is "moonshot thinking" per the Larry Page quote in the article. I like it. If you're the rich-beyond-imaging CEO of one of the world's most innovative and powerful tech companies, why wouldn't you at least dump a little money into life extension research? Hell, throw every cent at it.

/not QA's alt, just really not interested in getting old and dying

You do realize when you have to declare you arent someone's alt preemptively, that someone is quite successful at it.

So now we need a summon QA magic card.

Allow me. *ahem*

3-d printed interstellar travel will be possible in our lifetimes.

In all seriousness I think most people are for life extension. Except for people who mistakenly believe humans are bad, and the population needs to be reduced, yet never do anything about it themselves. My soul is prepared, Dr. Jones. Is yours?

Someone spotted middle-age lurking around by the marketing department.
Cheer up kids, you're going to die.

As someone who works in the search marketing field, this headline is accurate.

Hurm.... Just made me think:

Some people are getting QR codes on their headstones, I presume to be combined with something like a memorialized Facebook page.

I suppose, if you wanted to continue being annoying in the afterlife, you could have your QR code lead to an ad for Viagra or something.

/wonder if you can encode a QR to contain a virus...

Where's our resident Quantum life extension fan? I'd like to hear his take.

I'm pretty excited for when medical technology stops only looking at how to fix and starts looking at how to improve as well. I think a focus on life extension or cure for death will really help with this.

Creating ads that say "Braaaains" can be outsourced to a 3rd world country as well, so they'll even save money on advertising!

Just a sec, my 3D-printed rocket engine is almost finished.
