Yep, stopped reading right there.  F*ck you, ya prick.  He says this living in his rich neighborhood, with a house that has electric power, running clean water, people that he can call to put out fires, come and give him medical care, take care of crimes, rabid animals, toxic spills (you know, when he vurps), and so forth.  F*ck you, ya prick.

He's right:

And when some individual person-a parent, a teacher, a customer-"gives" something to someone else, it is not an act of charity, but a trade for value received in return.

Each particular individual in the community who contributed to a man's rise to wealth was paid at the time-either materially or, as in the case of parents and friends, spiritually. There is no debt to discharge. There is nothing to give back, because there was nothing taken away.

That's all assuming flat rates and equal values for everything.  That is not reality.

Another non self aware asshole who has zero idea how lucky he got being where he is. None.

Yes, spanky, you worked hard, bravo to you, kudos.

And about a million things had to go right outside of you that you seem completely clueless about so that you could exist in this blissful yet hateful little vaccuum, "earning" your way, with nobody to thank but your own can-do-ism.

The Gilded Age understood philanthropy and charity better than this farknozzle does.

Tell ya what though. Next time there's a fire in your cul-de-sac, better hope one of those little people you so angrily denounce shows up to put it out for you. Ditto your car on the highway. Ditto your kid's school going on lockdown for whatever.

And why does baseball have Fan Appreciation Day? It should be Ownership Appreciation Day! Once a year the fans should come to the park and pay homage to those who amassed enough wealth to buy a franchise where the fans are allowed to come to the ballpark and pay $45 for a ticket, $15 to park, $8 a beer, $xxx on merchandise, etc. Without these wonderful owners who would afford the fans this opportunity?

When people say 'without the roads' and yadda yadda yadda, people are forgetting that there was value returned for those undertakings.  When the gov built those roads, it got something in return for that already.  We are not still paying dues on that.  Those accounts were reconciled long ago.
