Well, at least Stalone still makes movies for my entertainment. I thought for sure the franchise was done when his son died.

This time, I hope the..."story" as it were, is better than the second one. The first one obviously is not a tour de force, but the "new guy everyone loves dies" didn't do it for me. Shoe horned. Now if Grammer is some evil bond villian and the expendables crew have to james bond thier way in, that would be awesome. Because maybe they will do what everyone wants. KILL EM ALL.

For some reason I didn't pursue that, because I loved the opening episode, and mostly, that was down to Grammar's performance.

As he says himself, one of the problems with his marriages is that his wives think they're going to get Frasier Crane.

I think it's a crying shame that KG hasn't had a more successful career filmwise than he has.

In a lot of ways I think of him as like an American Ian McKellan or Gary Oldman -  in terms of his ability to inhabit any character and bring it refinement and gravitas.

He's got that powerful voice and flawless enunciation that can shift from ice to fire and back again in no time flat.

It's too bad, really.

I put him in the status as Kevin Spacey. His voice alone can carry a character, and its his superb facial expression that can bring it home
