Psh I just played a full Tecmo Bowl season with him and he had 100 TDs and 4,000 yards rushing.

If he doesn't get pasted in his third game and spend the rest of the season in traction.

Except most teams would take the other QBs over him. The NFL is changing the rules to take away the advantages of mobile QBs and his arm isn't accurate enough.

That'll be kinda hard with Greg Little dropping every other pass...but then, he'll probably total a car getting to the stadium sometime this year, so...

This guy takes forever to get the ball anywhere... you don't have that kind of time to spend in your throwing motion in the NFL.  Tebow is a better athlete than this guy, in both the running and pass game and look what happened to him.  The only difference is Manziel has some kind of unholy luck working for him.  That's right... he is the antichrist.

you have pee hands: If he doesn't get pasted in his third game and spend the rest of the season in traction.

Very much this. Some speedy mike linebacker is going to teach him a very painful lesson. Then the pro corners and safeties will take care of the rest and that will be that for Johnny Football.

FTFA:

"Presently, among college quarterbacks as NFL prospects, we would rank Johnny Manziel behind AJ McCarron, Teddy Bridgewater, Marcus Mariota and Aaron Murray," Prediction Machine says in its evaluation. The forecast gives Manziel "a similar grade to Brett Hundley, Tajh Boyd and David Fales," and ranks the sophomore "firmly ahead of other prospects including  Stephen Morris, Derek Carr, Zach Mettenberger, Keith Price, Logan Thomas, James Franklin and Bryn Renner."

Manziel is a great prospect if you're looking to answer the question, "What would you get if you took RG3; made him slower, smaller and shiattier; gave him alcoholism and arrogance; and implanted him Mark Sanchez's passing ability?"  No way the kid makes it in the league, even if some DE somehow doesn't manage to turn him into oatmeal.

Also: Not a Clemson fan, but anybody who'd take Manziel over Boyd in the NFL is high.

Those are impressive projections beings he wouldn't last six weeks before he had a season or career ending injury

Holy shiat, do they even have editors there? The paragraph in the middle of the article appeared again at the end of the article, copypastad.

Someone's going to take a flyer on him, guaranteed. He needs to go ahead and get his money now, to help pay for the medical bills.

I agree and not impressed by Boyd he looks good when Sammie is on his game but without a speedy receiver he looks average. He does have a good arm so he could be a project like for billichek I'm guessing, I foresee years as a backup for manziel or he converts to WR and becomes the next Wes welker.

Yes, but both of them take a back seat to Bridgewater and Murray.

that's what i thought...then i watched the 'bama game.  he's much improved in that dept.   still think he'll be a second rounder at best, but now i think he could play in the nfl.  unless he gets griffin'd.

Without quite a few lucky breaks he's down by 20 instead of up that much, in the NFL those throws are ints.
