craigdamage: Anyone remember OMNI?...also, remember Guccione and Swaggart debate on live TV? Great stuff.
strangeguitar: I used to help run a small bookstore through high school and college. I used to see every single Penthouse from 1985 until 1994. A few years later (after not looking at one for some time), I opened one up and saw just pics of chicks pissing. What the fark was that all about?
great_tigers: 10 million in assets to 1/2 - 1 billion in liabilities? Who keeps funding that operation?
Edge.bot: I work for a printing company and we actually print porn , lord knows whos buying the mags because they are limited run and all glossy productions with lots of finishing.some people out there just need that paper feel i guess ~
stuhayes2010: Kids these days just won't know the joy of finding a playboy or penthouse when you're 13. You got to see boobies and the occasional vagina. Was so much better than the lingerie section of the Sears catelog.

Gulper Eel: JasonOfOrillia: Last week I watched a documentary on the founder of Penthouse. It was interesting. The old Guccione estate is about 15 miles down the Hudson from me. Once upon a time, from certain angles on the river, if you sailed just north of the old Mills mansion in Staatsburg and looked to your east, the view on the lawn could be astounding./csb
hershy799: Great, now where am I going to read steamy sex stories that are almost certainly fake?Oh wait -- the internet/I'll still rub one out in honor of Penthouse
DmGdDawg: Great....now my only source for porn will be Playboy magazine. Don't get me wrong. Playboy is ok, but it was nice having some variety to choose from :(
OOBE Juan Kenobi: Somebody here has gotta fix this, man! Seriously...[img12.imageshack.us image 88x34]
craigdamage: Anyone remember OMNI?
Billy Bathsalt: Back when Nixon was getting on the final helicopter, we used to be Boy Scouts and recycled newspapers- which were like news websites on paper. Sometimes we'd get a paper bag full of Playboys and Penthouses. That was greatDrool story, bra

2BuckChuck: Penthouse was my "go to" as teen wanker in the 80's. More lesbian stuff and bush than Playboy, but not gross like Hustler. Ah, memories ...
MelGoesOnTour: I dated a gal who was in Penthouse twice (first time in the magazine; later on the cover of Penthouse Forum). She never told me about it but I managed to find out years later via Google. She was really smart and sharp but ultimately not quite right in the head. She passed away about a year or two ago./Google "Sandra Estner"Cue the " centerfold " music
Cyberluddite: Billy Bathsalt: Back when Nixon was getting on the final helicopter, we used to be Boy Scouts and recycled newspapers- which were like news websites on paper. Sometimes we'd get a paper bag full of Playboys and Penthouses. That was greatDrool story, braI was a Boy Scout in that era, too (well, probably a few years before that), and my group had the greatest scout leader in the area (and the only one, not coincidently, who wasn't a Mormon). Not only did he allow us to do fun and dangerous things like blast stuff with his .44 magnum when we went on campouts in the desert, but whenever we had Scout meetings at the house, the actual meetings would last about about 15 minutes and then he would let us spend the next hour or so thumbing through his huge stack of Playboys and Penthouses. The Penthouses were the ones that were most in demand, of course. In the years that Playboy would only show boobs and no pubes, Penthouse would show pubes. When Playboy finally started showing pubes, Penthouse started showing girls with their legs spread. And the girls in Penthouse seemed not only hot but realistic-looking, while even then the Playboy girls looked airbrushed beyond belief. Penthouse always seemed on the cutting edge of softcore porn in those days, and as 12-year-old soft porn connaisseurs, we definitely appreciated it.
