And we're done.

I don't get the repeated JetBlue hatred on this site.  They've always been fine for me.  I suspect the JetBlue hatred is being driven by someone who has never flown American or United.

Or Southwest...  Nothing like hopping on the Cattle Car of the Skies. I only few JB a couple of times, but I loved it:

1. I wasn't on a plane that was so old it still had ashtrays and razor blade disposal slots.
2. I had space. My wife paid for the upgrade ticket for the extra 4" of legroom, and it was actually too much space, I had to lean way forward to reach my laptop.
3. Prices, while more than Southwest, were still less than Delta or United.

I've decided that if I have a JB option when I fly, it will be my air carrier of preference.

JetBlue is my preferred airline.  I'm 6'2 and sitting in coach in any other airline ends with my knees against something or my legs bent in strange cramp-inducing positions to have some sort of comfort.  On JetBlue I can keep my knees straight and not be embedded in the back of the seat in front of me.  And then there's the free in-seat entertainment, which you don't get on many domestic flights.  Southwest is doing free in-seat entertainment on a promotional basis currently.  Air Canada does free in-seat entertainment.  Frontier charges for it.  United, American, and US Airways don't have anything at all on the flights I've been on recently(777's on American have it, but I've only seen those for international travel).  And, of course, 1 free bag while still being cheaper than legacy carriers.

It also helps that JetBlue generally flies out of more consumer friendly airports.  Long Beach Airport is the greatest flying experience on the West Coast, and it seems every JB airport/terminal I fly in to is similar in that the security lines are easy and the boarding process is sane.

This. Or US Airways, which IMHO is by far the worst. I'm 5'4" and if I'm having legroom issues on a plane, something is going very wrong with their layout.

I agree.  Long Beach is fantastic and by far the easiest airport to use.

Spirit is waaay worse than JetBlue.

Spirit is way worse than any airline in the US. Period.

Never flown Spirit, but they can't be worse than U.S. Airways. I'd rather have flesh eating bacteria in my penis than fly U.S. Airways again.

Spirit is worse.  Spirit's the only airline where I broke the back of the seat in front of me because I didn't have enough leg room.

I suspect the hatred is driven by the many flyover-state Farkers with tiny, St. Louis-sized penises who hate NY-based Jet Blue for the same reason they hate all West- or East-coast sports teams.
