Fireworks are a symbol of the 4th of July when we remember our independence.  They're even commemorated in our national anthem "the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air."  It's a tragedy that this is what we're coming to in Obama's America: a patriot can't share his love of freedom with the President and his family.

Remaining firecrackers should be put up his ass and lit off. Then send him home and we save the cost of jail.

This guy is an idiot, but I I think the guy in the article below who regularly pointed his handgun at a 3 year old and pulled the trigger as a "game" is way ahead in the "dumbass of the year" category.

Brick-House: Remaining firecrackers should be put up his ass and lit off. Then send him home and we save the cost of jail.

Except then he goes to the emergency room and gets free medical care.

Ha! Didn't think of that, did you, you Republican shill?

I have never heard of "Illegally throwing a projectile", as a crime someone has been charged with.  It seems there would be some other charge which sounds more related to what happened.

One man picked a bad day to throw firecrackers at the White House.

There's a good day for that?

Year ain't over yet

Big deal. The House of Representin has thrown about 40 firecrackers at the White House in the past few years. Likewise, to no avail and to serve no particular purpose.

April Fool's Day....because you will have an excuse for doing it.

/Don't claim it is a good excuse, however.

Sadly, "being insanely stupid within 100 meters of armed Secret Service agents" isn't a crime, although it clearly should be.

FTFA: Officials identified the man only as Alexander Sahagian; he is believed to age 52.

What is he aging 52 of? Steaks? That's a story I'd be interested in.

Has anyone mentioned the "illegally throwing a projectile" thing yet?

That is rather an odd charge.  Disturbing the peace, maybe?  Assault, maybe?  If I were willing to, I'm sure I could come up with a list of actual charges that do not sound like comic relief.

"A young man who lost his memory because of a brainwashing program, Akira Takizawa meets Saki Morimi in Washington D.C., appearing naked and only carrying a handgun and an extremely advanced cell phone with the phrase "noblesse oblige" printed on it and 8.2 billion yen in digital money credit. When Saki is questioned by police after she throws a coin in the grounds of the White House, he helps her out and she gives him her coat to thank him. "

- another bizarre anime plot.

Look at that bastard throwing fire crackers like he owns the place.
