Unless they go in a different direction, he should be getting a good regular job on the new "Better Call Saul" BB spinoff with his Kuby character.  Good for him.

Man, that sucks!  Even worse than meeting a hero and having nothing but bland pleasantries to force out of your mouth is following your hero's path and having them see you totally fail at it.  And Bill Burr is pretty f'n funny in general.

Bill Burr is f*cking hilarious. I'm glad this got greenlit, I meant to catch him on tour but I missed it, so I just spent the $5 to download it from his site. One of my favorite comedians working.

Bill Burr is pretty awesome. Anybody who doesn't know, do yourself a favor and check out his podcast every Monday. One of the few people that can entertain you for an hour without needing to have a guest on.

Saw Burr at a show he did in St. Louis over the Summer, and it was the best standup show I've ever seen.  I think the guy is a riot, but was a little concerned about how good he'd be outside of taped Comedy Central special or DVD.  He farking rocked it.

He did two shows the same night with what should have been about an hour and a half between them.  Instead the first got started a bit late, and then he was doing so much off the cuff stuff it went way over (which was awesome).  In between he went to the coffee shop next door to the venue and signed autographs and took pictures the entire time right up to the start of the next show.  I just have to respect the hell out of someone that can do that stuff night after night on the road, have all that energy, and seem to get a genuine kick out of it.

I am positive that Bill Burr bombing is still funnier than everything Eddie Murphy has done in the last ten years.

I'm glad to see Bill Burr finally getting the exposure that he deserves. Been a fan of his for years now, since he started coming on the Opie and Anthony show. One of the best in the business.

Does Eddie still do standup? Or is he just banking cash from some lame movies that middle America enjoys?

No he does reggae songs with Snoop Lion. He's putting together a tour which he believes will involve so much hilarious comedy riffing between songs that it will lead to an all-out stand up tour! Yeah.

This one has amazed me since the day I hear it. "The Liberty Bell? It's FU*CKING BROKEN!" Or something like that.

I heard there was a podcast out there where he talks about it but I have yet to find it. I was told it was on Kreischer's podcast, but it hasn't been released on itunes.

Yeah this almost seems like he's thinking of someone completely different than Bill Burr.  They're just not similar other than their gender and hair color.

Duh, because they are both white and angry!  Don't you see it?  And both CK and Burr ripped off the equally white and angry Andrew Dice Clay.  Study it out!

Therefore, Bill Burr is awesome.

"I hope this ate up some time in your cubicle"....Burr knows his audience well.  Saw him last spring when he came to Austin.  One of the best stand-up shows I have ever seen.  It's even funny when he loses his temper and rips into audience members.

I've been listening to a lot of standup on Pandora lately since its so good for really long drives.  Bill Burr shows up semi-frequently, and he makes me laugh pretty hard every time.  He's definitely on my favorites.  I gotta say though, his "standup voice" is way different than his normal speaking voice.  Before I was able to look at my phone and see who was playing, I was picturing some dude in a tracksuit who looked like Kevin Corrigan.

I have a great respect for anyone who can do both legitimate acting and standup comedy and do well at both.  Bill Burr is definitely in that list.

Back around 1985 or 86, I worked with Bill Burr in a software distribution warehouse in Canton, MA.

Maybe not, his small roles work because he can still tour as a comic. Then again Louis CK has his own show he writes and directs and he still tours, so who knows? Love Billy redface though, gonna see him live in October.

Saw him live in May, laughed my ass off.  But his voice can get really annoying after a while, and he gets into really misogynistic rants sometimes.

Well, now Eddie Murphy can get nervous while Bill Burr is in the audience because Burr is eating his lunch right now. It doesnt get much funnier than his "being a mother is the hardest job in the world" bit.

His voice does get higher and faster when he builds up a head of steam.

If that's all you get out of their material, you don't understand either of them.

They both have 20+ years in the business at this point. I doubt either one tries to ape off the other, oh, and they are also friends.

As for rich, yeah, Louis has some money now (but we still arent talking Chris Rock or Seinfield go-fark-yourself money), but Burr, while gaining mass following in the last few years, has yet to hit into mainstream bucks.

I doubt Jason Sudeikis and Bill Burr have the same net worth, unless Bill took a bunch of that money he was laying on with Huell.

Yeah, thats nowhere close to being real. I'm sure bill does well for himself, but he's never had a big pay-day gig. no starring movie roles, no sitcom starring roles, multi platinum comedy albums, no SNL hosting, etc. All of which Louis has had.

Hell, i'd love for him to get there, but he's not there yet.

Yeah, I was suspicious with him being half of what Louis C.K. is... and then suggesting that Jason Sudeikis, who has had numerous lead roles in movies and a 10 year SNL career having the same net worth.... I think that website just pulls numbers out of its ass for anything other than the very top people who get their net worths in the news all the time.
