something tells me this was supposed to have a different ending than amusing if he got to where he was going...

Colby was lodged in the Lincoln County Jail for possession of stolen property.

I'm sure that a misdemeanor would be given to any non-cop that would do this too, right?

To be fair, that UCLA beat down of Nebraska had to have been a very bitter pill to swallow.

But of course. You all know that justice is ALWAYS meted out in a logical and balanced/fair method.

You know that Police Chase show where the voice over guy uses extremely loaded phrasing to describe everything?

"Now watch as the valiant and brave police officers bring this cold hearted evil criminal to JUSTICE!"

Anyway, I caught a segment on that show a long time ago. The police were chasing a former police chase expert.  It was hilarious to watch him thwart their every attempt to stop him.  Eventually they got him, but it was great while it lasted.

I don't show that episode anymore. I think it would conflict too much with their "police can do no wrong" propaganda.  Seriously, that show is so slanted it's not fun to watch anymore.

This so hard.  Class 1 misdemeanor with literally no minimum penalty.  If it were some civilian, grand larceny, felony evading, and if the cars bumped, attempted vehicular homicide.  If it were a black guy they'd have just shot him and been done with it.

I guess failure to stop doesn't *always* end in a beating...
