Nah, we only roast the ones we love.

Steve Jobs was buried in the iCoffin. It only comes in white and the warranty is voided as soon as you open the lid.

skinink: And honestly aside from the color schemes and the inexpensive iPhone there's really nothing special about the latest releases

Next time, could you try linking to a LESS shiatTY SITE?

Tell ya what, send me your email address, twitter account, and phone number, and I'll pass all my decisions by you in the future to make sure they pass muster.

The YouTube link in the article was sent a takedown notice and so the video was removed.

I found the video and uploaded it to a site that makes it trivial to upload videos and one that is more obscure than YouTube so that it would not be taken down as quickly.

Next time, I'll do as you suggest and upload it right back to YouTube so that will make its takedown easy and YouTube has already removed the video in question at least once...  It seems like a dumb site to upload it to, but it's worth it to get your approval.

Mustn't offend the Apple users. They might not buy Microsoft products if you offend them. Is that the logic they're working with?

FunkOut: You marry the one on the left and hire the one on the right to mow your lawn?

That is what I found amusing about the ad.  The character least capable of affording the premium product is the one they market to :)

Spadababababababa Spadina Bus: doloresonthedottedline: I honestly have no opinion of the Windows phone stuff, other than my reflexive hate for the UI instilled by Windows 8, but damn they have shiatty ads.

Tell me why your product is GOOD. Not why everything else is bad. And for the love of god, don't try to show trendy young people doing a dance routine in a business meeting to imply how good your product is.

Ever notice the difference between Coca-Cola and Pepsi's advertisements? Pepsi always compares itself to Coca-Cola. Coca-Cola doesn't compare itself to any competitor.

The relationship between Apple and, well, pretty much every Apple competitor is very similar. Whether or not Apple really makes a better product than their competitors is irrelevant. Apple doesn't feel the need to convince you that they do. Their competitors, OTOH:

magus007: How the fark did Steve Jobs change the world?

Woz wouldn't have gotten past the garage door without Jobs.

magus007: Gates on the other hand is changing the world removing mosquito from Africa.

He can attempt to cleans his soul all he wants, but it will never be clean.

magus007: How the fark did Steve Jobs change the world?  Flooding the world with overpriced, unoriginal, but well designed toys is not going to change anything. Gates on the other hand is changing the world removing mosquito from Africa.

This is my opinion as well, kind of interesting how the revered underdog ended up doing nothing that useful, meanwhile the ex-emporer of the evil empire of Microsoft continues to build a lasting legacy of good will and philanthropy.

Bad taste be damned, I'd pull the ad because it was just stupid.  You "pretend" that it's an Apple meeting...but the executive you show has been dead for two years?  Stupid.

He's been dead for 2 years.  Let it go.  I feel worse for the actor, being compared to Steve Jobs.

Damn, that was in far too good taste, if you ask me.

Seeing malnourished, suicidal Chinese teen labour assembling Jobs' iCasket in return for cups of maggotty rice? Now, that's comedy gold!
