ZeroCorpse: Perhaps the most evil and the most true-to-life.[psyc2301.wikispaces.com image 460x308]I don't believe there's such a thing as "evil" in and of itself -- I believe there's selfishness and selflessness, as well as cruelty and compassion, and what society tends to label as "evil" is actually cruelty and/or selfishness. Nobody declares themselves evil (unless they're deranged). Hitler didn't twirl an imaginary mustache and say "Now we will unleash my evil plan!" -- In fact, most people who society calls "evil" actually see themselves as the good guy. Hitler was convinced that his choices were for the good, even though to everyone outside of his influence they were obviously selfish and cruel. The same goes for a guy like Pat Robertson. He is 100% convinced he is the good guy, and that the homosexuals, atheists, and others whom he hates are the "evil" ones. However, when we step back we see he's the one acting selfishly and with cruelty.Cartman perfectly represents this idea. He sees himself as the good guy, and believes the people he doesn't like are the "evil" ones. He acts out of pure selfishness and often with unbridled cruelty. He hurts people because it serves him, because it elevates his goals, because it makes them look bad and makes him look "better" than they are. He hates, but he hates because he sees his opponents as his persecutors, and believes his goals are righteous because they serve his needs, and he sees no needs any greater than his own.Selfishness and cruelty. But if Cartman doesn't work for you, then how about this:[31.media.tumblr.com image 500x361]
