I dunno. Mr Teatime from The Hogfather isn't quite as evil in deed as many literary villains because it's a short book, but his motivations and general nastiness are crazy evil. He tried to kill their Santa Claus using children's stolen teeth, for fark's sake. With a longer lifespan or a more corporeal target for assassination and I believe he'd make Cersei Lannister look like a fine, upstanding gentlewoman.

There is one that killed practically everyone on the planet because he didn't like what was going on. He also killed a man's children, took away his belongings and stricken him with disease just to win a bet.

Currently, I'm most pissed off with both main characters in Gone Girl, since I just finished it. I couldn't put the book down. I loved them both, then... well, spoilers.

YHWH is the source of everything in Abrahamic religions. Thus, by definition, YHWH is the greatest example of and the source of all evil as well as good.

That movie really ruined her for anything else for big screen parts. She a native of my city and while she loved the part and awards...it type cast her for forever. She played it too well.

Ohhhh, of course. I'd completely forgotten about the avian Iago.

The Shakespearean version may have been the first villain in western literature who was evil for the sake of being evil. He had nothing to gain from what he did. He did it out of sheer malice. It's chilling.
