I don't see what the big deal is. Hamsters have been driving Kias for years now.

This.  If you look at about 1:27 you can see the zig-zag path that the truck was making in a long straight away.  That must have took hours to drive that truck with that dumb hamster all just to show that the truck is easy to steer.

* Richard Hammond of "Top Gear", is called 'Hamster' and drives trucks.

* The theme to "Top Gear" is based on "Jessica" by the Allman Brothers.

* Jessica, a character on "True Blood", is played by Deborah Ann Woll.

I think you guys are missing the potential here.  Imagine how Top Gear would replicate this.  How hard can it be?

"It was carried out by professionals in a closed-off area"

Now just where the hell did they get a professional hamster? I called the local pet store where I get fish and fish food, because I know they carry hamsters and mice, etc.  Asked them if they had any professional hamsters for sale, and the asked the three times what I was wanting, then hung up on me. RUDE!
I don't think they really exist!!!

A parking lot with orange cones would have been fine.

Also, we've had power steering like that for the past 30 years that I am aware of.  Really not impressed.

Capt. Ramsey: Speaking of horses did you ever see those Lipizzaner stallions.
Hunter: What?
Capt. Ramsey: From Portugal. The Lipizzaner stallions. The most highly trained horses in the world. They're all white?
Hunter: Yes, sir.
Capt. Ramsey: "Yes, sir" you're aware they're all white or "Yes, sir" you've seen them?
Hunter: Yes, sir I've seen them. Yes, sir I was aware that they're are all white. They are not from Portugal; they're from Spain and at birth, they're not white; they're black. Sir.
Capt. Ramsey: I didn't know that. But they are from Portugal.
[Chuckling]
Capt. Ramsey: Some of the things they do, uh, defy belief. Their training program is simplicity itself. You just stick a cattle prod up their ass and you can get a horse to deal cards.
[Chuckles]
Capt. Ramsey: Simple matter of voltage.

The end of the commercial states that this test was carried out by professionals.

Which leads me to believe that there are professional hamster teasing heavy equipment operators.

I do not remember that booth on career day.
