Let's get this out of the way before the Potato Brigade comes derping in. Embassy attacks under the Bush administration:

January 22, 2002. Calcutta, India. Gunmen associated with Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami attack the U.S. Consulate. Five people are killed.
June 14, 2002. Karachi, Pakistan. Suicide bomber connected with al Qaeda attacks the U.S. Consulate, killing 12 and injuring 51.
October 12, 2002. Denpasar, Indonesia. U.S. diplomatic offices bombed as part of a string of "Bali Bombings." No fatalities.
February 28, 2003. Islamabad, Pakistan. Several gunmen fire upon the U.S. Embassy. Two people are killed.
May 12, 2003. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Armed al Qaeda terrorists storm the diplomatic compound, killing 36 people including nine Americans. The assailants committed suicide by detonating a truck bomb.
July 30, 2004. Tashkent, Uzbekistan. A suicide bomber from the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan attacks the U.S. Embassy, killing two people.
December 6, 2004. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Al Qaeda terrorists storm the U.S. Consulate and occupy the perimeter wall. Nine people are killed.
March 2, 2006. Karachi, Pakistan again. Suicide bomber attacks the U.S. Consulate killing four people, including U.S. diplomat David Foy who was directly targeted by the attackers. (I wonder if Lindsey Graham or Fox News would even recognize the name "David Foy." This is the third Karachi terrorist attack in four years on what's considered American soil.)
September 12, 2006. Damascus, Syria. Four armed gunmen shouting "Allahu akbar" storm the U.S. Embassy using grenades, automatic weapons, a car bomb and a truck bomb. Four people are killed, 13 are wounded.
January 12, 2007. Athens, Greece. Members of a Greek terrorist group called the Revolutionary Struggle fire a rocket-propelled grenade at the U.S. Embassy. No fatalities.
March 18, 2008. Sana'a, Yemen. Members of the al-Qaeda-linked Islamic Jihad of Yemen fire a mortar at the U.S. Embassy. The shot misses the embassy, but hits nearby school killing two.
July 9, 2008. Istanbul, Turkey. Four armed terrorists attack the U.S. Consulate. Six people are killed.
September 17, 2008. Sana'a, Yemen. Terrorists dressed as military officials attack the U.S. Embassy with an arsenal of weapons including RPGs and detonate two car bombs. Sixteen people are killed, including an American student and her husband (they had been married for three weeks when the attack occurred). This is the second attack on this embassy in seven months.

In other words, shiat can happen at consulates and embassies. Beef up security for next time. Don't derp and obsess over imagined conspiracies, Republicans.

Well, good thing there were no accusations from the left blaming each and every one on your list on bush.

/// not a bush fan. About the only thing worse than bush is the hypocrites defending obama now.

// and obama himself.

Any blame directed at Obama  is based on racism and possibly homophobia.

Hmm, I see a lot of conservative trying to shift the blame from themselves - mainly because they are hypocritical garbage.

Tell me "Conservatives", when do the "dead-enders" stop?  Or are your Gods, GW BUsh, Cheney et al filthy f**king morons, just like you, and the war started by "conservatives" and executed by "conservatives" just an excuse to kill a lot of people because "conservatives" are filthy Satan acolytes who love to kill innocent babies (after they are born, of course) and then run away like cowards and blame the whole mess that they 100% caused on someone else.

Christ, is there any US "Christian" "Conservative" that isn't sucking off Satan right now?  Personally, I am drunk and tired of your pussy-assed, hypocritical ways.  Are all brain f**king dead?  Is your hatred of a man - who happens to have dark skin - so repellant to you that you would f**k your children in order to tell the world how uppity he is?

Here's a f**king clue.  Either kill them all, man, woman and child or don't get in a war there.

Easy solution.

Setup several CIWS Phalanx systems outside the embassy with enormous ammo hoppers that hold several million rounds each.

Setup up a platform where a quran is burned every few hours/minutes, whatever.  Then just sit back while all the "true" muslims run in and get turned into hamburger meat.

Anyone left alive after a couple days are pretenders because they don't actually believe in their religion and can just be ignored or bribed.

Definitely has nothing to do with the fact that alQaeda was sending its fighters to Iraq to fark with us, and thus were more able to fark with us in Afghanistan when the war in Iraq ended...

[themcglynn.com image 346x340]

Nope... nothing to do with that at all.

But I thought the war in Iraq took resources away from fighting Al Qaeda so now you are telling me that we were fighting Al Qaeda all along?

What do you mean by teatard? I am conservative and have been watching that region since 1997. My husband just got back from there and we speak one of the languages from there.

The "retards" as you say are upset because of the way Benghazi was handled after the fact. (I knew about Benghazi because of World War II) This isn't about embassies being attacked but about the incompetence afterwards and that no one called out the administration on it. We are allowed to complain about Bush and call him retarded but Obama is hands off? Sorry if a few "teatards", especially from an older generation become a little paranoid.

We can make jokes about the Holocaust, endemic racism, teen suicide, a little retarded girl who can count to a certain root vegetable, but we can't say bad words.

What, a little retarded jew girl with self esteem issues isn't funny?

I never made the claim that any of those things were anything less than hysterical.  The idea that we can't swear on a website where you can say those things seems silly.
