The All-Powerful Atheismo: mike_d85: /I honestly believe many "symptoms" of PMS are psycho-symatic.

you've never lived with a female, have you

I've lived with several in lo my hundreds of moons, and a lot of it seems psychosomatic to me too. Oddly the symptoms lessen or vanish when treated with an SSRI; I don't recommend Cymbalta because it hurts your liver when you combine it with alcohol and no sober person would let me give her a special massage.

Odoriferous Queef: E: Why the big secret? People are smart. They can handle it.

K: A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it.

This, with a big grin

Lonestar: Is this the thread about spiders crawling silently on your legs while you are reading this?

Women aren't the only ones prone to hysteria, it's just much easier for them to catch and share it. Men usually suffer alone. I credit Zoloft and later Celexa for taking away my "delusional parasitosis": I've even gotten and gotten rid of bedbugs twice this year without becoming a blubbering wreck. For a few months in 1987 it was like "David, head lice don't usually make nests in people's rectums; I'll look if you want but I think you need another type of professional care."

Now I bet somebody will correct my nosology (above).

Obviously.  head lice live on the head.  Those would be the dreaded buttlice.

I answer you thusly: I have thrown Reeses Peanut Butter CupsTM like a hand grenade.

Fano: As a professor of mine once said "just because it's all in their head doesn't make it any less real (to them)"

I imagine some females consciously or unconsciously use "PMS" as a blank check.

I pray you are not referring to Dumbledore as "a professor of mine".

Everything would have been fine if dickless here hadn't poked me.

symptoms of mass hysteria: barking, drooling, clawing, sleeping above the covers, four feet above the covers.
one known source of mass hysteria is people living in buildings constructed with girders that have cores of pure selenium.

if you ask for my source, I have this to say: back off man, I'm a scientist.

Are you, Alice, menstruating right now?
