I think they are more upset that a an actor they respected embarrassed himself on national television by derping at an empty chair and failing to even make it entertaining.

Mad? no, we thought it was great. The Republicans' best comedy bit last year, except for Rick Perry's oops. And the "legitimate rape" thing. And nominating an out-of-touch rich guy for Prez. Oh comedy gold all around.
