It's over. Let it go.

No. There is just no way you can top last night. It's pretty much the final word in trainwrecks.

I dunno about that article, i feel if you are doing a top ten list kinda thing you should start with 10 and work your way down...

Crazy moments? Most sound like a New Yorker being a New Yorker.

2013-09-11 09:48:55 AM
Don't get me wrong, New Yorkers are good people, but, they just repond to things with alot of aggression.

This list needs to go to 11.  Sydney Leathers (sext buddy turned porn star) crashed his concession party.

/Anthony Weiner stories belong under the entertainment tab.

He got less than 5% of the vote, no one cares, we can just ignore him.

After a few final good-bye laughs today, pretty sure everyone will.

Did he really? My goodness, that is sad. Did he really think he had a chance, I wonder?

1. Got into a heated shouting match with an Orthodox Jew, after the man heckled Weiner about being "married to an Arab," and setting a "bad example for the people" with his behavior. "What rabbi taught you that you're my judge?" Weiner responded sharply at one point.

Am I the only one that finds this bullet rather refreshing and funny in a good way?

Dick pics for some, miniature American flags for others?

I mean "funny in a good way" vs "funny in a way that's good for me and bad for him" like this:

The guy who was going to be president? Whatever happened to him?

Cletus C.: The guy who was going to be president? Whatever happened to him?

Somebody made an incorrect prediction based on their personal feelings in politics?  STOP THE PRESSES!

It sucks that he had this problem with, you know, showing off his dick.  The guy was one of the few actual liberal voices in Congress, and had a backbone bigger than all the other Democrats combined.  Who do we liberals (not D, mind you, but honestly liberal) have left for a voice in the federal government?  Bernie Sanders, I guess, but the guy sounds like a sad sack on the best of days and has the charisma of a soggy, musty blanket.

Before his first whoopsie, I loved the guy.  I lost a lot of respect for him after, but mostly because he made up a lie instead of just admitting to it when he was caught.  But, during the initial stages of this "comeback," I was pulling for him.  He was a guy, by any estimation, that made a mistake but still had a lot of fight in him and a lot of good to do.  Then, of course, came Ms. Leathers and his increasingly insane behavior...

I guess we're better off without him, because can you imagine the circus if he had reached higher office before this happened and it went down then?  But still, it's sad that it went this way.  I hope he finds help, because he obviously has control issues, and stays out of the public eye.  He's become an embarrassment and a liability to everything he used to represent.

Sad to think about it, but we (and the Daily Show) would have truly missed so much comedy this year had he not run.

Pretty much this...which makes all the BS surrounding him total BS.

Miss Leathers should be worried about the following letters:

H.

I.

V.

I'm sorry but...what politician doesn't have problems with self-control?  Especially the RWers.

Can you imagine the victory party?  The price of coke and hookers would have skyrocketed due to the sudden demand shock, and all cellphones within a 10-block radius of the Mayor's Palace would be inoperable due to the sheer magnitude of dick pics being sent forth to an unsuspecting twitterverse

Personally, NYC would be better off if they're vote for the guy who told the Orthodox rabbi to go fark himself; the Orthodox minority has way too much political pull in a city that big.

Wow. Just wow. The level of denial or justification on the left is comical.

I enjoyed it when he accidentally referred to his wife as "him" on the radio.

Fair enough. Let me just re-read your denunciation of this craziness...hmmm...

Um, go ahead?  It was more disappointment, because I really liked the guy before he went crazy, lied when he got caught, and flushed his second chance by going even more bat shiat crazy.  But I suppose you may interpret that different in your world.

Are you disappointed in Weiner or defending rwa2play? Now I'm confused. Maybe it made sense "in your world".

Disappointed in Weiner (that's what she said?), and I could give a damn what he said.  It was your attempt to paint the left with a very wide brush based on one comment from one guy on an internet message board.

Someone needs to make a video montage of every "Carlos Danger" chair dance John Oliver did over the summer.

To be fair, I wouldn't have to look very hard to find all of the farker support for this douche that held strong until the 11th hour. Every time I called out his personal foibles having a direct impact on his station I was told that it had nothing to do with how he governs and that he would never do it again. One time thing and all that. It may be a broad brush, but, there was a lot of farker juice in it's bristles.
hmmm, farker juice....

There are always hold outs.  I myself even believed it could have very well been made up by Breibart (they kind of had a history of that) right up until it was finally verified by other news sources.  At that point, it was revealed that he lied.  He lied to the point that FBI and other agencies were getting involved.  That's where he crossed the line for me.

Had he come clean and more or less thrown himself on the mercy of the public, I and many others would have forgiven him eventually.  But the lying and hypocritical nature of it...

Even THEN, during this run, he could have been forgiven.  Maybe never reach what he would have or even where he was before, but still make a difference on the public stage.  All he had to do was stop sending his dick and dirty messages to random women.  And, as we know, he couldn't do that.  And he lied again about it (though the FBI thankfully stayed out of it).  And then the series of blunders and incidents of insane behavior and confrontational attitude to even friendly interviewers...

The guy needs to go away.  His problems are his own now, and I hope he finds help or at least can find a job that doesn't care about his "hobbies" anymore.  But as the guy who had, for a brief time in 2009-2010, came to be a rally point for liberals were were tired of not being represented and our opinions and voices being ignored by a country where the "left" is in the space once occupied by Reagan, he has more damage than good in the long run.  He's now destined to be a punchline, and nothing more.

And hopefully, that's all he'll be from now on.  A "remember that guy" trivia question and not an albatross that the Right is going to keep trying to tie around liberals' necks for the next decade.

I feel really sorry for his wife. What a pathetic person he turned out to be.
