(Deadspin)   Skip Bayless fondly remembers the Michigan-Notre Dame rivalry back in the 60's with Bubba Smith. Except Michigan didn't play Notre Dame in the 60's and Bubba Smith didn't play for either one. But thanks for trying   (deadspin.com) divider line 44

Man, I would love to suck at my job as much as Skip Bayless sucks at his while still being employed.

It's not just that he sucks, it's that people still think he's relevant. Insanity.

Knowing Skip, he knew exactly what he said and was just click-baiting.  As always.  He's ESPN's designated shiat-stirrer.

People still read that little sh*t's stuff?

I swear I'm in the wrong business. I wish I could sell my soul like some of these assclowns.

Did he somehow work Teh Tebow into the discussion?

I hate him for having Rick Bayless as a brother.  The jackass probably gets to eat at Topolobampo for free.

I had to google to find out who this guy was. I just don't listen to anything on ESPN, except for the actual games when they come on. And even then a lot of times I get the home team announcers instead of listening to the TV guys. And mute the halftime show. And forget that crapola where they sit on a platform above a sea of students and wear funny hats.

ESPN is the channel that gave us a half hour show on why the BCS system should never be changed. They gave us Lou Holtz. The center of their universe is in Connecticut. About the only thing they do well is off the wall commercials about themselves. Why would a sane person deliberately seek them out to listen to their opinions? Seems to me that if you do, you should expect to be lied to.

Geeze, listening to an ESPN sports opinion show. Why don't you just butt your head into a brick wall to make yourself stupid, it would be faster. Oh, wait I forgot, you'd have to haul your fat ass off the couch to do that.

Did not know they were related.

There's a lot of things I miss about living in Chicago, and being able to eat at XOCO anytime I wanted is up there on the list...

You're really teaching them a lesson by only watching the games muted.

Most people do, they just dont make their mistakes in front of millions of people.

Seriously, we can count what, 10 mistakes bayless has made in the last 2 years?  Thats pretty good for being forced to back up opinions on the spur of the moment.

Im pretty sure I make more than five mistakes a year.  No body has started the firing process.

That's because we try to ignore that worthless piece of shiat.  But when he says something so obviously idiotic, other people who still watch because it's part of their job (or they're masochists) let us know.

The man's existence on ESPN is morally indefensible, and First Take is a microcosm of everything that is wrong with cable news.

FTFY. Skip Bayless is one of many "celebrities" who need to report to the embarkation port. The B Ark is about to be launched and they need to get on board.

If only there was a way that they could determine the national champion on the field instead of by opinion poll.

Sadly, such a thing is impossible, never to be realized.

Who was Steven A. giving the finger to?  Was it Skip Bayless?  Was it Michigan?  Was it Notre Dame?  Or, did he show up in the studio fresh from Anthony Weiner's concession speech?

Well, being that one brother got all the talent, personality and brains and the other got none of those, I can't say I'm shocked.
