Some resturaunts take pride in having 99% chicken breast chicken strips. McDonalds takes pride is having a chicken-like industrial solvent food-like product.

I'm sure there's a way to fuse pink meat pulp to a wing bone, bread it, fry it, freeze it, package and ship.

McNuggets are so great. I know they have like, regular chicken fingers now or whatever but there is something about the McNuggets that I can't give up.. not in an "I'm addicted" sort of way, though.

About once every 6 months I'll get a severe hunger for them, and when I do I go all out.  20 piece value meal, super sized, and a ton of sweet and sour.  The next day is pure hell.

I feel safe to say that anything McDonald's produces will taste bad. Going out on a limb here making such a bold prediction, but I'm edgy that way.

/Seriously, how do you people eat that crap? I can find a few things on the menu that are edible, but their pancakes? And the Filet-o-Fish? You have to be putting me on.

Don't they already offer bleu cheese for their salads?  I know the last time I got a salad there, it came with a pack of Newman's Own, but can't remember what varieties.

Look... me and the McDonald's people got this little misunderstanding. See, they're McDonald's... I'm McDowell's. They got the Golden Arches, mine is the Golden Arcs. They got the Big Mac, I got the Big Mick. We both got two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles and onions, but their buns have sesame seeds. My buns have no seeds.

Nothing new, the McDonald's in Thailand, have had wings for years. Greasy but not worst I've ever eaten, and end of the day it was more real then an nugget.

DaMoopies: A buck a wing? And who the hell wants to deal with bones while driving?

I'm OK on the bones, even if they do require you to put your beer down while driving.  But as you say, the buck a wing thing is a deal breaker.   These are little fatty chicken chunks, not prime rib.  In comparison, they used to sell a cheeseburger for under a buck.  Scientists need to quit wasting their time and our money trying to cure AIDS and cancer and move on to things more important like growing chickens with 200 little farking legs.  Chickens are grown, aren't they?

All this talk about synthetic meat recently but apparently McDonalds perfected the technology decades ago.

If I remember from last time I went and asked for salad dressings, bleu cheese was not one of the available varieties.

As the saying goes, "You get what you pay for!"  McDonald's chickens are mostly purchased from egg producing factory farms. These poor chickens are crammed into tiny cages their whole lives, and live in miserable conditions as egg machines before there production declines, and they are reduced from egg laying mothers, to basically parts for consumption by ignorant consumers that are kept in the dark about their foods origin!  I dare any of you meat eating robots to watch the following documentary showing where fast food comes from.  I highly doubt any of you will make it 5 minutes thru this video, Click for a conscience.

Until recently I never gave much thought on what I ate. When I made that switch and actually started paying attention, I lost 25lbs and feel better. I'm trying to eat less meat given the factories and conditions they put the animals through, but as far as fast food goes, I eat less than 1 time per month. And even that I am trying to minimize. I won't try this.

We can make chickens born with no feathers, so de-feathering is a step taken out.  The cost of energy to heat the lil things off sets that.  We can make chickens born with no beak so they can't kill each other.  I'm sure we can make chickens with 200 wings.

No, I eat fast food occasionally, but McDonald's is just gross. I think it's the bread, mostly. It's as if they made the buns from Wonder bread, then let it get JUST a touch stale. They have terrible coffee; dry, doughy sausage biscuits, mediocre fries. The double cheeseburger is edible, but the Big Mac is more bread than burger, plus it has Thousand Island dressing on it. The Quarter Pounder needs tomato on it. I can't think of a single thing on their menu that I wouldn't pass up for a gas station hot dog. Burger King and Hardee's are probably less healthy, but they have figured out the salt/grease/sugar ratio WAY better.

Anyone who feigns disgust at the idea of eating a Big Mac also tends to:

1. Own a TV but haven't turned it on in years
2. Drink microbrewery beer
3. Watch Japanese children's cartoons on a Mac
4. Appreciate the warmth of vinyl phonograph records
5. Read books at Starbucks
6. Claim to prefer girls with small breasts
7. Make snide remarks about Wal-Mart.
8. Walk past a smoker and force pretentious coughing noises
9. Take comfort in believing size doesn't matter
10. Ride a bike wearing spandex stretch trousers

Because when I eat fast food chicken I want to be sure that it hurts queer marriage as much as possible.
