I totally knew the security questions for my ex's email and got her password.  I'm a 1337 hax0r, where do I sign up?

But sadly, not the gay and gender-transitioning hackers.
That's DISCRIMINATION!

Yeah, but chances are really good that if you're any good, you're working for a contractor anyway. Seriously, unless you're hopelessly unqualified or out of date, or you have a massive personality flaw that makes you impossible to work with, if you work in IT in the big fed machine you work for a contractor.

Of course they are. The Democrats want everyone to work for the government.

No thanks, I'd rather work an honest job, like at Enron or Goldman Sachs.

Yes and the smart ones stay as far away from the feds as they can. The feds will burn you if it is to their benefit or "just because".

They don't pay enough to keep me from trying to circumvent what they are doing.

Hackers - You'll make /much/ more in cybercrime but you might go to jail. Even then, if you were any good, you will probably be recruited when you come out.

It's not news, it's Fark.

Hasn't this always been true? A government presence is almost guaranteed at defcon/etc, and they're not there looking for charges to file (well, usually...)
