Threaten mass-murder: No problem.

Have an indoor garden that cuts into use of pharmaceuticals: That's a jailin'

Honestly, I didn't think they had a communications program at NWMSU. Almost everyone I know who went there ended up with an education degree.

Idiot. Make those jokes in private to very close friends.

On an interesting note I had a visit from state and local officials the other day. It wasn't a "raid", but probably could have been one if we had refused them entry. I guess our power company noticed a significant spike in our energy usage and tipped them off. Yeah that will happen when you already have a 125-gallon and a 12-gallon aquarium then decide to add another 125-gallon, a 600-gallon aquaponics system, and start up the indoor greenhouse to get herb seeds started (no, not THAT type of herb). On the bright side they thought everything was pretty neat and let me know how to get permits if I wanted to grow weed (which I do not). It wasn't a big deal, so when I read this articles in the paper about hydroponic gardeners being "raided" all I can think is they were being dick when the authority showed up.

We got whitelisted so they said they wouldn't be back unless a neighbor complained.

Why are the police harassing this responsible gun owner?

Proving once again that academia does not always equal smart.

I know this is Fark and people don't read the articles, but this is a particularly dumb post.

Police policy:

Gamer kid makes a sarcastic reply - Police arrest kid, strip him nude and leave him in "observation" for months.

Fat 40 year old jokes about sitting waiting for students in clock tower - No charges for threat.

Guess cops like 'em young.

Rouch reportedly wrote that he was always optimistic at the start of the school year but "by October, I'll be wanting to get up to the top of the bell tower with a high powered rifle - with a good scope, and probably a gatling gun as well," according to the Star.

I read it as a joke.  Does anyone see this as a serious threat?

Besides, a gatling gun would be way to tough to get up a bell tower.
[Now this is meant as a joke, humorless SOBs.]
