/ You folks that were born after the age where every TV set was color, might not get this joke.  Many shows were not broadcast in color, but that was ok because most of us didn't have color tv sets at the time.  But as more and more shows started being broadcast in color, they'd flash that banner on the screen which reminded you that you didn't have a new fancy TV set yet.  I remember seeing my first TV show in color....Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea...we were at a relatives house.  It was remarkable.

As far as a remote control.....well, that was me and my brothers.
