The last part describes how the deer are now defending the boars from hunters by using lethal force.

Has the whole animal kingdom decided to rise up against humans? When will it be the damn dirty apes turn?

Witnesses described how the elephant had grabbed a tarpaulin and placed it over the electric fence surrounding its pen, before breaking through barriers and trailers that formed a second enclosure.

Good thing they're dumb animals we should enslave for our entertainment.

That elephant was just practicing Parkour, the French martial art of running away as fast as possible.

Pentaque? Old white people play it, so no. If its something their parents do on vacations, they want no part of it.

Now, if it was a game played by Indonesians (or sri lankans or whatever) in a particular gambling hall in a town on an island nobody ever heard of, then they would be all over it.

I'd be happy with a death half as cool and not cancer.

What's worse is that even before the elephant trampled the old man, the animal did not say, "Bonjour". Farking animal tourists are so rude.

Lol, been playing it for over 20 years, very popular in the Slovenian neighborhoods in Cleveland when my dad was growing up 50+ years ago. Also quite popular with the Italians obviously. Along with cornhole it's one of those games you can play from childhood to where you can barely stand and it's still fun and competitive.

Yes, I believe that is the English title of Le Tour de Gaule d'Astérix from which the quote is taken.  The scene is when the older pétanque players are purposely holding up the Roman legionnaires by taking forever to finish their game.
