Colons are often used in place of attributive verbs to save space in headlines.

Can you imagine Rodman as the next leader of North Korea? Rodman, a nuclear power?

That would be the biggest rebound of his life.

I'm not really understanding any of this.  This whole thing is absurd.

In other news. the comma has been replaced by the period.

I have to imagine that  Kim Jong-un has a severe misunderstanding of the influence that Rodman holds in this country...until this NK thing he had pretty much completely faded out of the spotlight IMO.

Better to be adopted daughter than ex-girlfriend.

It's NK, therefore it's a day ending in "y".

is it bad that the adoption wouldn't even list in Rodmans 10 weirdest things I've done list?

I think Rodman being the hypothetical leader of NK is actually scarier than the current guy.

I know chubby's ex ate a bullet or two since they split (that whole amateur porn thing) but whatever happened to his current wife's husband?   Did he catch a morter shell?

Rodman who?

Seriously, if he doesn't get that Bae guy back......oh, never mind.  I looked it up.  He didn't.  He blames Obama and Hillary Clinton?

Fark him.

I usually don't get too worked up over celebrities, but if I ever see Rodman in real life I'm going to hit him as hard as I can right in the farking nose.

And yeah, he'd probably beat the shiat out of me because I'm not that tough, but he's an asshole of the worst kind.

Well Rodman knows a dinner ticket when he sees one.

And in that headline, as in anatomy, the colon is followed by an asshole.

From a CNN article, quoting a reporter who went into NK:

"The poverty I see through the bus window is not the view of North Korea the regime wants to be seen. ... Buildings are in disrepair; some barely look inhabitable. Residents of this ... town walk or sit by the side of the road, many seeming to have little to do. A number of official-looking men dressed in brown Mao suits stand silently on street corners."

My question is... so, we are OK in the U.S., because we don't care who gets to see Detroit?

/i know, there are much bigger violations in NK
//just an odd thing to make a point of for the reporter, since you can go into a lot of US cities and make the same descriptions

Two non-mainstream celebrities, one of them a monarch, attempt friendship. Let's all have a hate-fest.
