Pope Francis: The Antidouche.

Hey Catholics, you've got yourselves a good one.

Francis is invoking the Catholic Doctrine of  Bellum iustum(there is no "j" in Latin), the just war.

Article makes more sense in Italian. And I only speak Spanish.

I like this Pope guy. I don't think there's any way in hell the cardinals knew exactly whom they were voting for.

Sure they did. By all accounts, he was the runner-up last time. And once Ratzinger turned out to be a terrible Pope AND unwilling to confront church issues head-on, they got rid of him, stat.

While I have very very strong feelings against the Vatican regarding the child rape scandals, I am also a big fan of the current Pope Francis and I wish him the best.

So now it's going to be a crusade for peace, unlike the other kind of crusade which slaughtered anyone who lived in the middle east: Muslims, Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians, FSM cultlies -- really didn't matter since they weren't European and spoke jibberish.

Meh, since when has America needed actual wars to justify pissing away money on the military?

Now if you're looking for conspiracies to make money selling guns, look no further than the leaders of the anti-gun control movement.

Sports tab?

"War is a racket."

Racket being an item used in tennis.  Tennis is a sport.  Thus War is like Tennis, therefore Pope thread belongs in sports.

Some folks are born to wave the flag,
Ooh, they're red, white and blue.
And when the band plays "Hail to the chief",
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord,

It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no senator's son, son.
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, no,
Yeah!

Some folks are born silver spoon in hand,
Lord, don't they help themselves, oh.
But when the taxman comes to the door,
Lord, the house looks like a rummage sale, yes,

It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no millionaire's son, no.
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, no.

Some folks inherit star spangled eyes,
Ooh, they send you down to war, Lord,
And when you ask them, "How much should we give?"
Ooh, they only answer More! more! more! yoh,

It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no military son, son.
It ain't me, it ain't me; I ain't no fortunate one, one.
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate one, no no no,
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate son, no no no,

World-scale war, the real "problem" or "selling weapons is". And the "Angelus, the Pope Francisco, after prayer vigil for peace in Syria, is not this country during the question - it says -" fratricidal violence and destruction, and a renewed commitment to resolve the conflict ONE stopped immediately and work. "," "Pope in the Middle East, opened his eyes, called" co-existence model "," sectarian violence in Iraq "for" reconciliation "in Lebanon a" significant number of security news, the peace process between Israel and Palestine, "contract", "see "How to. Egypt, Muslims and Christians, "for the benefit of all the people society"

It's like the cold war revisited. The Russians are selling arms to Assad the US is selling arms to the rebels. The only winners are once again the banks.

Since this was in the Sports tab earlier, is Vegas taking bets on how soon someone takes a shot at the Pope?
