I'm glad he's trying to get his shiat together, but come on- he committed armed robbery. You don't just get to say "I'm sorry" after you pointed a gun at someone and took money from them.


There's not actually a hell of a lot he can do about it now. No DA is going to prosecute him for a small-time robbery in which no one was hurt, years beyond the statute of limitations - even if he hands them a confession. Basically - the dude got away with the crime, but decided to pay it back anyway, even though he didn't have to.

I probably wouldn't be as forgiving, but if the victim is okay with it then I don't really care.
