The Guinea pig had no comment, except to say, "Hey! You guys run this place like a prison!"

FTFA:  The nurse, from Gloucester, who does not want to be named, said: "I think it is such a joke that a guinea pig was taken to the vets by prison service car. It took an officer off duty and we are already short staffed. Then later that day a member of staff logged that there was a death in custody. But unbelievably it was the guinea pig.

This quote from the article especially made me laugh:

"These guinea pigs have been living it up for sometime."

So ... they took a helper animal too the vet in a government car, with government employees looking after it - call me shocked.

I am more pissed about the concept of me beating a police dog to death (who was trying to eat my nutts) is the same as shooting a police officer in the eyes of the law....

He added that the pets were checked each day but did not have a barcode as prisoners do.

Alex Jones' head just exploded.

fark these assholes. Animal programs in prisons are good for inmate morale and they teach life lessons about taking care of things that some inmates probably never got during their childhood. These programs are not a cure all, but they do provide an avenue to rehabilitation for those who want to take it.

Yeah, it was a good movie.  I have no idea how much of it was true.  I was reminded of it last week when 10,000 signatures were delivered to #10 Downing Street to free Charles Bronson and read up about that sick bastard.  He hung out with the Krays.  He was initially sentenced to 7 years in prison in 1974 and just kept getting in trouble even when he was released briefly.

His supporters say he never killed anyone, although when I read about him it wasn't for a lack of trying.  How the fark can people want these assholes released into the general public is beyond my comprehension.

There was nothing we could do Mervin. If we'd had the whole philharmonic orchestra in there he'd still have gone.

First the Piranha brothers now this. Two Monty Python references in one thread? Sweet.

I actually thought TFA was from a satire site. The fact that it isn't makes me very, very sad.
