somebody in this story is hung like a horse

It's hard for an older child to get adopted. People want these impressionable babies that they tell the usual lie to, which ALWAYS leads to difficulty later on.

I was adopted at 7. I knew exactly what was going on and I didn't have a huge-ass "you lied to me!" tantrum. It's all good.

Well that's a horrible idea

I give it 1, maybe 2 years before there's some story out about the woman being arrested for banging the kid,  or having some huge family gangbang.

What? It's florida. Incest is a thing here.

So she'll adopt him, but not his sisters? Not cute enough?

His sisters were already adopted.

i worked with a woman who tried to adopt an older boy. she and her husband both thought they could make it work but the kid had A LOT of resentment and it seemed no matter that the (new) parents or (new) sisters did it wasn't enough.

so he was "proved right" when his bad behavior got him thrown out. a lose lose for all. it looks like this may work out better. one can hope so at least.

Ha! Those girls are going to be pregnant within two mon...

Holy shiat! Nevermind, they'll be fine.

Kid sounds like an unappreciative brat. He'll be in jail by the time he's 17.

Fat kids prolly don't get adopted as easily.

And not very fashionable. "Shirley" she realizes that the in thing to do is to adopt some foreign kid preferably non-white. But no, this chick goes and commits the social faux pas of adopting a kid from her own country-a white male one at that..

Never bet against the libido of a teenage boy.

Those two porker sisters living with him will eat all the food. Taylor, in his weakened state, will be unable to throw tantrums, kick kittens or run away. It's going to work out just fine.

Or a teenage girl. Mind you, the one on the left looks like she's heavily into sensible shoes and women's hockey, if you catch my drift.

I'm fairly sure the daughter behind the boy is Chris Lilly. Is this from the new Angry Boys?

"Excuse me, ma'am, but this one's defective. I want a refund. There's a warranty, right?"

OMG as a step mom to a kid with anger issues, this rings true.  When the kid and I met, it was perfection.  I didn't go thru labor to bring him into this world, but he may as well have come from me as we look alike, think alike and have about the same emotional "temperature".  His dad was initially baffled and is now thankful.  And the anger BS?  Mostly gone away.  Kid's on the honor roll and not beating up other kids/mouthing off to teachers.  Big transition in 2 short years-he and I still butt heads, but I think it's good and not a bad thing; he needs someone to confront and also talk to and cry to from time to time and I guess I'm it.  His bio mom seemed to pour gas on the fire and make him more angry.  Glad she's 1K miles away now.

/wicked stepmother, don't mess with my kid

"Of course you're my son. I paid good money for you. Now STFU and get your homework done or that gaming machine of yours gets turned back into a pumpkin at midnite, Cinderella."
What to say when a kid pulls that "You're not my real dad" bs on you.

Interesting. His explanation matches exactly with social workers' theory about what makes adopted kids lash out.
Sounds a bit like a Cartman apology to me.
