So can someone point me at a stream for Michigan?

No seriously, whose bright idea was it to take a rivalry game and preempt it for Sprint Cup racing?

Good job, Georgia! You've now knocked off as many ranked teams as my EWU Eagles.

It's the last race before their version of the playoffs start

Every time the WOU QB gets hit, 15 yard penalty. They have more yardage from those than from actual plays thus far.

IAmRight: steamingpile: Can the mods get him a Div II thread so he will shut up about a game nobody is watching.

Sorry, I'm talking about a team that has a win over an FBS team this year.

And nobody cares, again its the watching thread for real games, what you're doing is just spamming the thread with comments since you know its annoying.

I don't give a f*ck about your incompetent squad's game either. Pretty sure it's an NCAA football thread. At least I'm talking about a team that might win a championship.

Where do you live that they preempt a football game, Russia?

ABC chose NASCAR over what could be the last Wolverine-Irish game this decade? Dumbasses.

QB wearing 98? Now I've seen everything.

No you're spamming the thread for a crap game nobody is watching but you, congrats on proving you're an ass and forcing the last 3 of us to ignore you.

And what farking song are they playing, sounds like shiat.

Even as an Irish fan, I'm of two minds on this rivalry.  I mean, no rivalry should ever be allowed to end, ever.  But on the other hand, if you hate each other so goddamned much you can't even PLAY each other, that's gotta say something right?

Well...I don't know what network your game is on but we don't need play by play in the thread.

I'm watching Vanderbilt/Austin Peay, nobody cares.

Vandy up 3-0 but not looking good very good right now.

They didn't have a choice, NASCAR contract this race must be on Broadcast.  This is one of the reasons they are dropping NASCAR.

You sound bitter because you support an inferior football program. It's okay, you might still make the Outback Bowl!

California.

But they did it in Michigan as well according to my father.

/Seriously, the FARK.
//And then they locked it away behind the paywall.  Sigh.
///If ESPN did a "Buy streaming access directly" right now and get access right now thing, I'd honestly do that because it's impossible to get sports from back home.

If something happens in your game, feel free to point it out. In my game, there is a lot of action, so I'll be talking about it.

Not everything revolves around SEC teams.

They did it because of their emphasis on strength of schedule.

Chip, did you practice that logic with anybody before trying it on the press?

I was gonna make a joke about the South but NAScAR is on ABC here in Colorado too.

They didn't play each other in 2000 or 2001.... or 1995 and 1996... or 1983 and 1984... from 1944-1977...

It's not an "every year or the sun will explode" type rivalry. They will meet again, but the media has to have something to talk about non-stop for days on end.

So Michigan's QB, Gardner will be wearing #98 for the rest of his career out of "honor" for a guy he's likely never heard of. Cool.

2013-09-07 08:14:07 PM
Well FFS this isn't even fun to watch now that they're actually getting stops thanks to our WRs dropping every pass even when it'shiatting them in both hands.

First punt of the year on a Vernon Adams-led drive after two consecutive drops.

And now I'll watch some sh*tty game I'm not interested in so I can comment about a "relevant" game between two teams that will be nowhere near contention for a title.

The fact that it's going back on hiatus is dumb enough.  Then again, I absolutely hate the whole realignment and championship game BS and wish we could go all the way back to there being a Big Eight and SWC (and obviously, only TEN teams in the Big Ten).

He's heard of him. Harmon's name is all over Michigan's facilities.

Pretty stand up of thing for Devin to do.

Ref in the WVU/OU game looks exhausted already.

Oh look, it's Bob Stoops! Now I remember why I wasn't watching this - don't want to slip up an punch my TV screen for looking like a douche. It's not the screen's fault.

/C'MON AT LEAST SHOW SAD STOOPS FACE AFTER THE FUMBLE

Yeah, the QB of Michigan has almost certainly never hear of the schools 1st Heisman Trophy winner even though there are statues, plaques, photos and all kinds of other things honoring him on campus. Holy hell dude, are you for real?

Yellow, of course.

At least it's the right shade of maize, as opposed to BC, which hasn't worn yellow in decades.

15 FG in a row is a Michigan record?

They must have had some terrible kickers over the years.

2013-09-07 08:24:01 PM
WVU's decals look too small for their helmets.

"Look at that vision he has! Noticing there's no one within 20 yards of him in all directions! Only a really good QB would have such phenomenal vision!"

2013-09-07 08:24:09 PM
15 straight FGs is a record at a storied program like Michigan?
