geom_00: While everyone else was playing a cupcake

Number 5 Georgia vs number 8 Clemson was the only matchup between two top ten teams.

I don't think Georgia should have dropped to 11. At most Clemsom and Georgia should have switched.

What a boring early slate. Hopefully the 3:30 set is better. I hate the first 2 weeks of college ball.

elguerodiablo: Florida's D is looking dominant.  Let's see how their O will screw it up this time.

Yeah its Miami, who's offense has been shiatty for years so its not a good judge of how good your defense is this year. A friend of mine has said for a couple years the best defense against Miami is their own offense.

For that close of a game this early in the season I'm inclined to agree, still I would like to see both teams run the table just to have them meet up in the last NCG. Just to give people one more thing to biatch about before the BCS goes away.

True and LSU beat top 20 TCU.  But you know the SEC NEVER PLAYS ANYONE GOOD OUT OF CONFERENCE.  Like Tennessee against Oregon next week.

I'm torn on that one, I hate the Vols but live near Portland and Oregon fans are almost as insufferable/insecure as tOSU fans.

They still wear 12-0 t-shirts.

geom_00: Aar1012: llortcM_yllort: Aar1012: I'm biased, obviously, but I still want to know why Oregon jumped Ohio State when Oregon's completion was a FCS team that went 1-10 last year?

Because Oregon didn't look like crap for three quarters against a shiatty team that wouldn't even make the playoffs on a regular basis in FCS.

Alabama didn't look like a repeat National Champion on Saturday either. That's my contention

Let me add my two cents:

While everyone else was playing a cupcake, PSU played an ACC foe. PSU won...and got 4 votes.

The rankings NEED FIXED.

/YES, I do realize I have NO RIGHT to complain.

They barely beat Syracuse.  No one is going to crown their azz for beating a mediocre team from low end BCS conference.  And they're playing a cupcake this week.

As much as it's nice to see the Badgers doing well, it's against an FCS team. Would love to seem them do this well against some better competition, and soon.

I'll have to see if there are any other games worth watching. ND / Michigan looks interesting, but that's HOURS away.

On a neutral field, I think UGA beats Clemson by 7.  Should have stayed in top 10, they'll be back, as long as they clown Clowney & Co.

I am biased, but I'm stoked for UB/Baylor at 3:30. Khalil Mack is a beast.

That's really lame, it'd be like a UGA fan wearing their 2005 SEC champion T-shirt.

They're busy making sure that none of their student athletes is making a farking nickle off their own work.  Unless the kids already a millionaire and lawyers up then that is cool.  We need a 18-21 developmental pro league.

God only knows.  At least Vanderbilt is handling their case the right way.
