Why would a porn shutdown affect the jobs report? All the male pornstars would go back to delivering pizzas to single horny women, while the female stars would go back to nursing sexually randy male patients.

I would think working in the porn industry would be like freelance work and I don't think a freelancer would declare unemployment after just a week without being able to find anything.  They probably spend a lot more than a week between movies looking for the next one to make.  And just because the sex isn't happening doesn't mean the rest of the process from writing to editing to distribution can't be done.
