(Fox Sports)   Tebow rejects your non-belief. He's the greatest QB OF ALL TIME, and deserves the position. Actually, just read the comments for NFL conspiracy goodness   (msn.foxsports.com) divider line 33

Kurt Warner was a nobody pushing carts. He worked his ass off with the AFL and got a chance. He owned the league for 5 or 6 years and took 2 shiatty franchises to the Super Bowl. That man tapped endlessly about god, but you know what? He'll of a quarterback.

When Tebow achieves any of that, he can talk.

Well, I'd point out that making it as a QB was all Kurt Warner had.  If that didn't work out, he was going to be pushing carts the rest of his career.  Tebow knows he can go around talking Jeebus to megachurches full of adoring fans.

In a lot of ways, he's the Sarah Palin of sports.  When he quits the real game, he knows he can still make money talking about it to rubes.

I don't get all the love or hate for the guy.  The bottom line is that he had an excellent career as a quarterback in college, but crappy mechanics to make it in the pros.  He's a fool for not going to the CFL if one of the teams there was interested...he could have improved his game there and come back to the NFL.  There's no shame in taking a job in a lesser league and working on your game (WHILE GETTING PAID).

I like how people complain about Tebow coverage, and then submit 40 articles a day to Fark about Tebow.

Tebow thinking he's a QB is like Happy Gilmore thinking he's a hockey player.

/Joke stolen from a friend's Facebook page.

My friend actually wanted to see him play for the Bills, until we staged an intervention with a piece by a Boston Globe reporter saying he was the worst QB she had ever seen in practice.

The "love" is "because Jesus". The "hate" is more annoyance with the Tebow lovers than with Tebow himself. If you're critical of Tebow's ability as an NFL QB, his fans act as if you took a dump on the baby Jesus.

Heard Warner on Dan Patrick yesterday and DP asked him if Tebow would be wise to go the AFL. Warner said that it was good personally for him because he got reps that he wasn't getting the NFL, especially since he was backing up Favre.

Warner also said give him a week with the playbook and he could start for the Jets.

Not a big Warner fan (ironically enough, because of his off-the-field shiat), but Kurt needs to have a heart-to-heart with Timmysprinkles to explain to him what he needs to do next.  He'd be the perfect role model for him.

Modmins,

In the future can we get the CFB thread greened during Gameday so we can talk about how drunk Lee Corso is?

The Alouettes, who own his CFL rights, pre-emptively came out and said they weren't interested.

Tebow reportedly turned down both that offer and an invitation from USA Rugby to change sports altogether.

Wow. That hurts. Even the Canadians don't want him?

Am I the only person here who things he should go play rugby somewhere?

Thanks, I figured it would go green around Noon Eastern, I just wanted to request that going forward it was greened a little earlier. Or is that the privilege of TF?

Who, exactly, think he's going to be anything more than a novelty act?  The CFL is even more of a throwing league than the NFL.  If he can't cut it here, he's certainly not going to be useful as a CFL or AFL quarterback.

I don't think he would be a fan of the drinking and "naughty" rugby songs.

Warner would probably be the jets best option actually.
