I remember that place.  It used to be advertised in the States along with Adventure Land (which my family, against my advice that it was an obvious tourist trap, stopped at for a very expensive visit).  What was it with the Kelowna, BC area and overpriced tourist traps?

As for the article, it made me think of this song.

Video for how to change out the Showbiz Pizza band after they got bought by Chuck E. Cheese.  Featuring the most depressing music ever.

When we lived in Almonte 25 years ago we would take the kids there at least once every summer. I think one of my kids is actually planning to put in bids on some of those characters. They were incredibly creepy, even in their prime!

We had something like this in Tampa when I was a kid. (Just scroll past those bazillion pics of the 'Rainbow Bridge' first.)

Looking back, it looks like Borat's idea of an amusement park.

So was this park designed to scare the f*ck out of children?

American messed-up amusement parks don't hold a candle to Bon Bon Land in Denmark. (NSFW... no, seriously)

Ahhh......didn't even need to click to know that's the old Lowry Park.

The original Busch Gardens was like that before it became a huge amusemet park. The old origial gardens used to be there, not sure if it still is or not
