I don't care how much weight they tell me I'll lose, I'm not letting scientists feed me poop.

They can have my fat germs when they pry them from my cold, dead, fat stomach.

Poop thread! Yay!!!

I can say for certain my poop doesn't make me fat. If anything, it's the other way around.

Crappy bacteria.

Bacteria help digest food. Different bacteria offer different "products" after feeding on whatever you put in your stomach. Eating crappy food or just overly much might swing the advantage to bugs you don't really want to have too much of.

Funny... farking MSNBC... I saw this reported somewhere more reputable (don't remember but anything other than MSNBC is "more reputable") as the converse: intestinal bacteria from thin people made the fat mice thin. Which is a lot more practically useful than saying "fat people germs make people fat"

I think i need to start a poo bank where I get poo from thin people and administer it to fat people for a huge sum of money.

There are already spas that do this, per TFA.

I'm pretty thin and very gastroenterologically healthy.  How much could I get for my poop?

"Eating a healthy diet encourages microbes associated with leanness to quickly become incorporated into the gut," Gordon said. "But a diet high in saturated fat and low in fruits and vegetables thwarts the invasion of microbes associated with leanness."

So the secret to being thin really boils down to not not stuffing your face with fast food everyday?
