Why is this on the sports tab?

Heh, so I named my fantasy team Hernandez' Hitmen, and as a complete joke (very last pick in draft) I drafted him. I checked my draft grade the next day and saw this gem:

Mr. Mendoza: Aaron Hernandez is owned in fewer than 10% of Yahoo! leagues (7%). Let's hope that a.) Hernandez' Hitmen has some solid inside information, or b.) he's a close friend of the family.

7% with the size of the Yahoo! leagues is a surprising figure.

I just checked, there's not an Athlete Crime tab or a Wealthy Arseholes Who Commit Murder tab.

Sure there is.

Athlete Crime = News.

Wealthy Arseholes = Politics.

That's actually pretty cool that Yahoo does that. I wonder what happens if you're the only one to pick someone.

More than likely people that were auto-drafting and they didn't remove him from their draft list.

Ohhh yea the draft grades can be hilarious. You see everyone's grade (Hernandez actually dropped me to a B) and why they got that grade. My friend, the only one to get a C, was just horrible. He's got the lowest scoring team based on last year, predicted to be last, the hardest schedule, and the worst bye week (5 starters out).

They say the same thing.  I got to the bottom of the draft list (literally, I was the last one to pick), and all of my options were exhausted, so the program chose ... Joique Bell.  I got the same a/b thing.  I think 2 or 3 percent is the figure for him.

I will pick him up as soon as my backup/bye week questions resolve...

Bristol Bloods in the hizzy!

/btw if anyone happens to be in my leagues and reads this, picking up Hernandez would incline me to trade with you - he is a must have for me after week 8 or so  ;)

Let's just say that, since Hernandez has been incarcerated, the Zodiac Killer hasn't stuck again.

I can kind of see a season-long fantasy point prediction.  Yahoo saying that Ray Rice will get 1100 yards rushing, 450 yards receiving, and 8 TDs is a realistic prediction.  I think he will do better than that, but whatever.

But the week-to-week predictions are utter bullshiat.  Will Rice get 50 yards rushing tonight or 100?  Will he get 0 TDs or 1 or 2?  How the fark can Yahoo or NFL.com/fantasy get off predicting that?

/yahoo predicts that my team will go 4-10 this year.  We shall see.

I resent their giving me a B- (and third-worst grade in the league) because I'm weak in the QB position...YOU START ONE QUARTERBACK, HAVING TWO GOOD QUARTERBACKS IS POINTLESS AND DOES NOT MAKE YOUR TEAM BETTER.

And having three potential stud RBs is a huge advantage since the flex spot is W/R/T. But it doesn't factor that in. HOW DARE YOU, YAHOO.

In summary, I like the idea of draft grades, I just wish it were a little smarter about the whole thing.

In my espn league I got a D from the draft. Then again I am starting two people the League made fun of last night for being on a team...

I haven't done an ESPN draft of any kind ever since it f*cked me by not updating the auto-rankings and I got disconnected and it stuck me with Ricky Williams (known to be suspended for two years), David Boston (out with a broken leg), and some other guy who wasn't going to be playing all year, all in my first five rounds.

Eat dicks, ESPN. There's no f*cking reason for you to have still had Ricky Williams in your top 10 FFB rankings a month after he's been suspended for years.

This is my first year doing fantasy and the office group uses ESPN. But yeah that sounds retarded.

No kidding. The dipshiat who took Russell Wilson in the 4th and Brees in the 6th got a better grade than me, the guy with 4 bellcow backs and Brady as a 10th rounder.
