Just like OJ. He just can't fade into the background and stay out of the news. And we know what happened to OJ.

2013-09-05 01:19:55 PM
Oh goodie. Another George Zimmerman thread. Time to pop the popcorn!

2013-09-05 01:32:14 PM
Zimmerman is now the Flying Dutchman of the US news cycle.

2013-09-05 01:49:29 PM
Was it a black cop?

2013-09-05 01:50:32 PM
George Zimmerman removed the tags from his matress.  Film at 11.

2013-09-05 01:50:33 PM
Worst suicide by cop ever.

/seriously, once more and it's probably likely
//or he's a shiatty driver

2013-09-05 01:50:54 PM
Alright, stop! I don't need updates when farking George Zimmerman takes a farking shiat. He was found not guilty, end of story; get over it.

2013-09-05 01:50:56 PM
They were targeting him!! Unfair!!! Profiling!

2013-09-05 01:52:07 PM
To be fair he was late to the gym.

MEH.

Time for a "Not News" tag.

This.

2013-09-05 01:56:01 PM
I don't need to know when someone gets a speeding ticket, thanks.

Unless of course, it includes nudity, little people, copious amounts of drugs, or animals at the wheel (preferably all of these).

2013-09-05 01:56:09 PM
I'm sure it'll get dropped.

/Like he dropped Trayvon.
//I'm sorry.

2013-09-05 01:56:22 PM
Maybe he should go hide with Casey Anthony

2013-09-05 01:56:25 PM
Next time I get a speeding ticket, can we have a Fark thread about it?

2013-09-05 01:56:38 PM
A shiatty driver but he shoots better than Annie Oakley!

2013-09-05 01:57:01 PM
His right to "stand his ground" extends to his automobile. He has the right not to back down from traffic, and speed limits infringe on his right!

2013-09-05 01:57:02 PM
I saw this on the news last night.  I was laughing out loud.
"Seriously...  If you insist on going out in public, and you are George Zimmerman, the least you should do is FOLLOW THE DAMN SPEED LIMIT!!"

No, he IS Annie Oakley! Just fatter, browner and with a way crappier choice in firearms!

60 in a 45 could have been the flow of traffic, the speed limit may not have been posted. It's still legally limited, but  no one follows that.

2013-09-05 02:01:10 PM
shiat, if I was him I'd speed too. You don't want to be a slow moving target.

2013-09-05 02:02:50 PM
He tried speed dating, but speed stalking seemed so much more George.

Plus, if he leaves quickly enough and then gets a ticket, they'll never place him at the shooting and he'll have a written alibi.

2013-09-05 02:03:43 PM
He hasn't murdered anyone in a while, that's kind of newsworthy.

utsagrad123: Next time I get a speeding ticket, can we have a Fark thread about it?

Only if you do it in such an entertaining way that it actually makes the news.

Like...  Dress up as Ronald McDonald, steal a Batmobile, fill the passenger seat with mint M&Ms, and go at least triple the speed limit.

2013-09-05 02:06:06 PM
I see you farkers are still whining about this.

First solution is to shoot, likes to go on patrol, looks like a potato...I think it's pretty evident that George Zimmerman is part Sontaran.

beantowndog: He hasn't murdered anyone in a while, that's kind of newsworthy.

Trayvon hasn't tried beating anyone to death in a while either.

I've no doubt, given the "sighting" in Tx ("i've a gun in the glovebox) and now this he is merely
speeding around looking for another family in an SUV wreck to rescue

Truly, let's assume he is too busy seeking road-rescue redemption to pay attention to law - it's not a highway......its.....its.....a neighborhood!

Virulency: really? news reports on a guy getting a speeding ticket?

It does serve the purpose of delivering a lot of information to the public as to where he lives, what he is driving, what he looks like, and where publicly available court records containing his detailed personal information may be found.

/If that alone hasn't convinced him to keep a low profile and not drive like an asshole, then I have no sympathy for him when all those people who would like to have a little 'chat' with him manage to show up at his door.

//Isn't there still a cash bounty for that dude? That+Florida=Lots more popcorn

2013-09-05 02:11:08 PM
It's almost as if he doesn't have much respect for laws.  Who'd of thunk?

It's safer for Zimmerman to be speeding in his car than getting out of it looking for "bad guys" to catch.

It is going to be really hard to later deny that Fark had daily George Zimmerman threads if you continue to greenlight stuff like this.  Not even deleting every thread in the archives will be sufficient.  You guys do realize that?

I could say some version of "drew/money/fark/clicks" - but? the truth is? as long a GZ remains in the public eye (and not wise enough to stay out of sight for a while) - it will be "news"

Dear George Zimmerman,

You were involved in a very high profile court case that led to your controversial acquittal. Due to your involvement, you will forever be hounded by the media whenever you so much as jaywalk across an empty street. Have fun in your own personal hell.

groppet: Maybe he should go hide with Casey Anthony

They were just discussing this story on a radio station here in Central Florida.  They commented about how Casey Anthony has done a great job at staying out of the spotlight whereas George Zimmerman keeps getting the attention of the news media.

The most recent story of him having his picture taken in a gunshop shows how clueless he is.
